  1. I love my Sennheiser HD 558's they are pretty much the same headphones as the 598 if you plan to mod & paint them... I got mine for around 130$ on amazon... So that's about 800 kroner for you if you can get them at the same price or better... Edit: posted to late to see this but at least you can get a frame of reference for what I paid for mine... : /
  2. I'd take a look @ the Sennheiser HD 558's, they are 50 Ohms which is reasonably easy to drive and sound fantastic... I love mine Also, this may just be me but I prefer an open design headphone for gaming... And finally, you should check out the mod mic for another microphone solution... you might really like that one...
  3. If you want to save a crapload of money you can get a fiio e10 for like ~75$... I love mine
  4. I'd check out the beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros if you are interested in headphones. They come in 32 Ohm, 80 Ohm, and 250 Ohm variants... I don't own any of them but they seem to have good reviews and other members on the forum have seemed to like them... So take my advice with a grain of salt Edit: They are also only 165.00$ on amazon...
  5. CHC Silverados are only 99$ on amazon right now... check them out here. I can vouch for these headphones also they are absolutely incredible... I took this guys recommendation to buy the Silverados and was extremely impressed with them...
  6. I love my Fiio E10, and I'm actually using them with a pair of 558's and a pair of CHC Silverados... I paid around 75$ for my E10 and it was well worth it...
  7. So yeah, I just got my Silverados today and they did not disappoint... I have tested them with a wide range of genres and have found that they really have the perfect amount of bass for me. I wouldn't say they are only good for rock though, because to my ears every genre sounded fantastic. I even tested them with some deadmau5 and for me they were perfect there also. Also, the build quality is fantastic because the entire headset is pretty much metal, but that also doesn't make them heavy. They sat very light on my head, although I'm also 6'4" so our ideas of what is light may very... With all of that said... I would definitely recommend these headphones if you can afford the 99$ on amazon (they are also prime eligible which was a plus...) I'd be very surprised if you were disappointed with these headphones...
  8. or a mod mic, or a cheap clip on mic... anything that pretty much allows you to spend your money on a nice pair of headphones with better audio quality...
  9. I have a pair of CHC Silverado's coming in the next day or so that are supposed to be made for rock and they are 99$ on Amazon right now, If you are interested I can let you know what I think of them when they come in... I listen to a lot of rock myself and I'm pretty optimistic about these...
  10. Sennheiser is a reputable brand... I'd have been surprised if they didn't sound good...
  11. I lol'd @ the third one... cause its soooo true
  12. Rofl So they are that similar to Beats huh?
  13. Huh... I've hated everything I've ever owned from Skull Candy lol...
  14. There are literally a ton of books out there you could choose from to learn openGL. My suggestion would be to go in person to a local book store (ie. Barnes & Noble) and look around their software books, they tend to have quite a few for a specific language and should carry multiple books from different authors about openGL. Yes, I know this isn't the norm for us computer nerds to go out into the world beyond our computers to find a book of all things, but honestly being able to compare and contrast the differences between two books may make the difference between you enjoying or hating learning openGL.
  15. IMO raw clock speed is really nice to have... but moar ram and moar monitors I've found to be the most important
  16. Probably not if you have decent on board audio...
  17. I'd go with the Siberia V2's However, if your unsure about your onboard audio, the USB version is only a difference of like 10$ and may be worth it...
  18. Thats up to you man, I don't own any of those headphones lol the information I provided was straight from the beyerdynamic website... Closed vs. Open headphones are entirely up to personal preference...
  19. Yeah i can understand where you are coming from with that... however, I personally like to hear people yelling at me to pay attention when I am clearly too immersed in a game Hope the info I provided before was helpful 0.o
  20. My point is, he can get multiple IPS panels that add up to or near a similar resolution for cheaper... If i'm not mistaken... I thought that panel wasn't IPS...
  21. or spend the same amount on multiple nicer looking monitors 0.o
