  1. I just bought a Gigabyte Z390 M-Gaming motherboard, which has an RGB light on the IO shroud however in the RGB fusion software all I see is my GPU and RAM - and I can't even sync them, only change them individually? Is this me just missing something?Additionally, I have a DeepCool Gammaxx 240 RGB AIO which says it has support for RGB fusion, the rgb cable is connected and both the CPU block and the fans have lit up LEDs, but once again I don't see them in RGB fusion to change or sync.Any help?
  2. On my new PC build, i keep randomly getting the BSOD with the message"SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED stornvme.sys"Sometimes it does it after a few minutes, sometimes after about 30 mins. I've tried updating windows (it doesn't let me for some reason), all my driver's are up to date and have even reinstalled windows and it kept doing it PS. How do I create the ZIP file with the dump files btw? When I try to copy them it says "File not found or no read permission"
  3. Oh, ok. Seems like a good feature, the bit that annoys me is it playing a video before I've even logged in. Thanks
  4. Whenever I restart or turn my PC on from a shut down, Google Chrome always starts up with it and starts playing whatever YouTube video I had open in Chrome when I shut it down before I've even logged into my account! This is really annoying, and Chrome isn't in the startup list in Task Manager - definitely not. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  5. Ever since Bluetooth Security Tag appeared on my login screen, it has caused my PC to boot slower (as there is a massive delay between me going from the lock screen and the users showing up). Does anyone know how to get rid of Bluetooth Security Tag? I've Googled, and haven't found anything that works for me yet
  6. This is a problem I've been having for a while now, and it is really annoying. Bascially, when I start up my PC and it goes to the lock screen, I press enter and it takes ages for the users to appear so I can actually log in, it just sits there staring at my lock screen background and then, maybe a minute or two later, the users will appear. This is really annoying and I have no clue what is wrong. Furthermore, while I am staring at the lock screen after pressing enter, Google Chrome starts up and starts playing a YouTube video with the sound coming out - even though Chrome isn't on my startup list! I really need help on this
  7. Yeah, these were my original thoughts. I am still fairly confident in buying a 1080 now, as I don't want ultra settings honestly, I am happy with 60FPS at a mixture of medium and high really
  8. Surely £430 is a good deal for a GTX 1080 though - especially as I can't find any 1070Ti's for around that price anywhere...
  9. In the past when do the consumer GPUs come out after the profession ones?
  10. I have managed to secure a deal of £430 for a GTX 1080. However, I am wondering if it would be worth waiting instead for Volta? I just recently got a 4k monitor and am looking to upgrade from my GTX 970 and have a budget of £440. I currently also have a i7-7700k, 16GB Corsair LPX RAM and a Corsair RM650x PSU. I am aware Volta will definitely give better 4k performance for the same price, however, if I am not mistaken, they release the high end cards first - which would be out of my price range to begin with (eg. GTX 2080) and then later come things like the GTX 2060 and 2070, which would be more in my price range at launch. With all this, I do not know whether to upgrade now so I can enjoy 4k gaming at medium - high settings with good FPS or wait (possibly around 6 months) for Volta to experience 4k at ultra settings at good FPS. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated
  11. Oh, that worked great - thanks again
  12. I'll just try and get used to it I guess. Also, is this really the only way to get this to function like this? Are there no programs that do it, because it really makes the 1080p screen blurry... I am willing to live with it if it is the only way, but if there is an alternative you know of that would be great
  13. It worked this time - still with DVI. Idk what I did differently but I'm not gonna complain. Thanks for the help However, now my mouse cursor is really huge on my 1080p screen (understandably) and turning the scaling down just makes the text and everything else unreadable
  14. I just tried this, and I enabled DSR under 'Manage 3D Settings' however the higher resolutions aren't showing up under 'Change resolution'. They show up on my 4k monitor but not my 1080p one. I thought perhaps this could be because my 1080p is plugged in via DVI and (idk the max res for DVI) but maybe that doesn't support those high resolutions? Should I try using HDMI or something instead?
  15. I just got my new Acer RT280K - from what I can tell, an excellent 4k monitor. However, one problem I am having is using it in conjunction with my second 1080p monitor. Mainly, it is the different sized windows and the layout of my monitors in Screen Resolution options. Right now, I have it set up so my 1080p is to the top right of my 4k monitor, and this isn't ideal as it means to go onto my second monitor I have can only go through the top right of my 4k monitor, is there any way to make it work as if it were two monitors of the same resolution. I read some posts on people getting their 1080p monitor to upscale to 4k but keep displaying at 1080p - would this work for me? And if so, how do I do that? Finally, playing Civ 5 is annoying as the UI does not scale at all. I was aware of this before I bought this monitor, however was just wondering if anyone knew of a mod or something that fixes this? Thanks
  16. I am looking at a 4k monitor that is on offer right now for only £215. I have been considering buying it because, to me, that is an absolute steal and I have been thinking about upgrading to 4k for a while now. However, I currently use a dual monitor arm where the two arms are at the same height and this 4k monitor has the VESA mount right at the bottom of it. As such, if I were to mount this 4k monitor the bottom of it's 27" screen (compared to my second just 24") would be higher than the bottom of my 24" monitor. This is a problem. So I was wondering, does anyone know of a VESA adapter or something like that that will allow me to mount this monitor lower? I was considering the Silverstone SST-MVA01 which is used for mounting a monitor and a NUC, would this work for me?
  17. I suppose, I am however now being shifted towards a 1070 Ti, however I am looking on Newegg UK (as that is by far the cheapest) and the only 1070 Ti in stock is an MSI one with mixed reviews, however there is a Gigabyte AORUS 1070 on there with much better reviews, so I'm just scared I might end up regretting if I go for the 1070 Ti from there.
  18. What settings do you usually need to run at to make it smooth?
  19. That is reassuring, a 1070 is supposed to be slightly better than a 980, right?
  20. I've found a lot of benchmarks on ultra settings but, as I know I wouldn't get around 60FPS with a 1070 on ultra, I was more looking for medium settings.
  21. Would I run into any bottlenecks with a 7700k with a 1070 or not? What about with a 1080, because it's not out of the question for me, I'd just prefer not to go that high if at all possible.
  22. He games at 1080p on a 4k display? I have found some articles giving mixed results on downscaling how does he find it?
  23. I am almost certainly going to buy a new 4k monitor (as I have found one for only £215) however I currently have a 970 and know I would need to upgrade. I was considering getting a 1070 to go with it (as 1080s are rather expensive) and I was wondering how well 1070s can be overclocked and how well they perform on 4k with about medium settings. Another possibility I thought of, is using the 4k for videos, movies, desktop use etc. and then just gaming at 1440p / 1080p. Does anyone have any experience with this method and if so what are your opinions on it?
  24. Hi all, I am having trouble finding a Pump Express Plus charger on the internet for my Umidigi Z Pro. It did not come with one, as I bought it second hand, and I have had no luck finding them online. If anyone knows where I can find one, or a quick charger that will work with the Umi Z Pro, please let me know Preferably it would have a UK plug, however I can always use an adapter.
  25. It is a nano sim, and I had to get a new one as my old one was a micro and so didn't fit in my Umi Z Pro.
