Again, this whine can be solved through use of an external USB audio device, though some have been known to continue to whine this is likely from interference over the USB power rails in which case it is very possible to externally power the device and utilise only the data lines to connect to the PC through a little cable modification. Of course all of these are just bandaids and in reality replacing the GPU is the obvious answer.

Even Soundcards via USB can get those whines. Often than it is through groundloops somewhere between your PC and external stuff. Often a cheap DI Box does the job. There are different sizes for different jobs.
For you for example, something like that can help:

I highly double the coil whine would come across a USB data connection so I'd suggest an external audio interface for the same reason the other responses suggest a sound card or DAC. The reason I tent to suggest an interface over a standalone DAC or soundcard is that of value for money, you get far more functionality for (often) less money. The ability to use real XLR microphones is not to be laughed at, your discord pals will love you for it (plus you can still use it just as a headphone amp or speaker controller if you don't need that functionality)

Usually with good sound cards, they use a multilayer pcb, and the outer layers are used as a shield, with all the traces hidden with the inner layers. That generally should do it.

The ultimate solution is fiber optics. So, using toslink to an external dac. Then there is no electrical path from the pc to the dac anymore.

It's because the graphics card is emitting EMI and it's interfering with the audio signal. You could get a sound card, but you would want to make sure the whole thing has a shield on it that's connected to ground. An external DAC might be a better solution.

I declared the motherboard dead. Bought a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite, works like charm with the 2200G and now with a 3600.

These programs features a lot of built-in workaround for all sorts of hardware that don't follow standards.
As Windows never showed this in the past, it is safe to assume that many motherboard manufacture never bothered to test or even support this.
Newer systems should not have this problem.

But yes, I agree, perhaps Microsoft could see with the motherboard manufactures how to pull that information properly for boards that are not following the standard sets.

I would post the issue in the Feedback hub with the system specs, and maybe the team behind Task Manager or whomever is involved, can see how to get the info correctly an correct the issue in the future updates of Windows.

The only thing Task Manager is good for is running tasks.

As long as things are stable, you should be okay. If you push the overclock to the point that you start noticing unusual dips in performance/crashes, that's when you should dial things back.

The game takes a bit longer than you're asking, but the rules are very straight forward and it's one of the easiest games to learn:

    Ticket to Ride

It supports up to 5 players. The nice thing about it, is that even though it's extremely easy to learn, there's still a high ceiling for strategy and advanced gameplay. This means that a newbie can jump into a game, and someone more experienced can still enjoy more advanced techniques.

It's definitely my favourite board game - and bonus, it has multiple variants (The original USA map, Germany, Continental Europe, and a few others).

In terms of shorter games? Resistance is very good. You basically play co-operatively as members of a secret resistance cell for an evil authoritarian government. But there's a catch! 2 or more of you are secretly double agents that work for the government.

Another good short game is Codenames, which is a game where you give clues to your team, and they have to guess, based on the clues, which "character" is one of our spies. There are 2 teams (red vs blue), and they each take turns guessing.

Entering this thread, Carcassonne was also on my mind.
Carcassonne is published where I live by '999 Games' which has a ton more cool games, but I know this publisher is only active in some western European countries (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Denmark) and might not have the same games in other countries.

    Tellestrations after dark is fun.
We usually play that with some friends who come over and it usually ends in us all dying of laughter, especially if you're bad at drawing.
Also, Jack Box party packs are great too, if you don't mind using a computer or xbox or whatever to broadcast a game to a TV and everyone uses their phones to answer or complete challenges.

I've got a few different rigs going on right now, but I figured you guys would appreciate the setup I just got going. It's the most jank by far, in proper LTT fashion.
There's an i5-2500k, a GTX 760 with not so stock fans, an ancient Corsair SSD that I don't know how it still works, and two power supplies to run it, because one I didn't have any SATA connectors for.
