  1. Hi guys, first time posting. I just needed some help. I'm not very tech savvy like many of you guys so if I sound like an idiot or use incorrect terminology, forgive me. I purchased a PC from CyberpowerPC about a year ago and the spec. are: MSI X99A RAIDER (MS-7885) Intel Core i7-5820K (Haswell-E/EP), No Overclocking AMD Radeon R9 390X 8GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card 16GB (4GBx4) DDR4/2800MHz Quad Channel Memory (ADATA XPG Z1) 800 Watts - Standard 80 Plus Certified Power Supply The problem I have is the CPU cooler. I have an Asetek 550LC 120mm Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler. I am not a heavy gamer and recently I've only been playing the League of Legends. And I watch 4K videos. I sometimes watch 8K videos on Youtube and it hasn't been a problem up until last week. But now, whenever I play LOL while I have several Chrome windows open, the game will lag. (I guess this is frame drop?) At first, I thought it was the graphics card problem, but changing the resolution setting from Ultimate to medium (and even medium low) did not improve the performance (FPS). I opened my PC up and touched the liquid cooler portion that is sitting on top of CPU and it was very hot to the touch and I couldn't keep my finger on for more than 5 sec and the heatsink(?)-the radiator looking part attached to the fan, connected to the CPU mount via water cooler's hose gets even hotter than the part mounted on CPU. I checked the fan on the front of the case and it seemed okay and I also check the fan connected to the liquid cooler on the back of the case and it was spinning. I tried cleaning it by blowing some of the dust off but I'm not sure if the cooler is performing as it should. I checked the CPU temp while watching 4K video on Youtube and it ranges between 68~78,79C and it seems high.squirting noise..idk) but I thought water coolers normally do make noise? Recently, what I've been doing is, I would play LOL for like an hour and then do light task that doesn't require the CPU to overheat to wait for it to cool down a bit and then play for another hour or so (Basically, I do not multi-task much). It's a bit annoying so I'm asking for help. Should I replace the cooler? I've been thinking about just using fan coolers that sit directly on top of CPU, rather than the liquid CPU cooler. P.S. I've ran anti-malware softwares to see if there was a virus that was causing the subpar performance of my PC but everything seems normal.
