  1. I have a GTX770 Asus, not the ref card and I got 200fps+ on csgo, but this card run quite hot, and the power consumption is way to high. I think you should go for the 960 best perf/watt ratio, less heat, and maybe a tinybit faster
  2. Can be under the cd bay... If you can check that out
  3. I'm going to use 4 of them next year for wireless display for refereeing of weightlifting competition.
  4. You're right mic, sound different in each situation, if the OP can borrow different mic and try them out before buying, this would be perfect. My best broadcast experience was with a DBX 286, with a sm57. But I do understand it's for Youtube so anyway post can be made, and any mic can sound amazing if the post is made right.
  5. But your computer will be running close to the mic and condenser mic like the AT2020 catch every litle sound. You should try first the sm57 or sm58 if you can, they are used in studio and pro recording way more than we think.
  6. Unless your room is acousticly perfect, you should go for a dynamic mic, condenser aren't meant to be used in broadcast, or "noisy" room. I would sugest a Heil Sound PR781 or similar
  7. Surely can be done but every european country have high VAT rate, so it can be very expensive... plus shipping
  8. Check a little on Aliexpress, you should find good-ish mech KB for 20$
  9. Here in France it's widly available under MSI branding, maybe you can find your with the now good name/brand
  10. Here is what you're looking for MSI GTX 1080 Ti SEA HAWK X in fact the retail name has changed...
  11. Yes a bit less than 20gb, but you're going to be fine if you don't install GTA V or similar on it ahah
  12. SSD are actually old pc life saver, I throwed the cheapest 64gb SSD I found in a old Dell Laptop, and it's works like a brand new laptop for consumer task. Even if 120gb isn't much for games and OS, you should be fine, and improve your perfomance and general system responsiveness
  13. Plus Optane just isn't compatible with 4th gen CPU.
  14. In term of raw spec maybe, but since size, and weight can be a issue for some + touchscreem is a nice addon. You just can't say that one computer is better than another. I mean if you don't need to cary it all the day i'll take the W530, but I do carry it every single day so 12'' and 1.3kg are best for me. Depends on everyone needs as said before
  15. It's all about anyone needs, and i'm kind of a Dell whores E7240 i5 - 250usd E7240 - i7 - touchscreen - 380usd
  16. If you don't mind buying used, I got my Dell E7240 in very good condition with 128GB SSD, i5 4310U, and 8GB of ram for less than 250USD on eBay
  17. You need to launch steam in offline mod, then since you're on a local network you all can join the local server with his local IP
  18. For the first time configuration you need indeed a network connection, to setup the server, download the require files, and setup csgo on every computer. But you can configure them all on a different location.
  19. I don't agree the OP idea, just giving "solution"... Maybe he can make short match in "overtime" like for calification and then full match for semi and final ?
  20. First one of your computer need to run the server as detailed below : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=230908126 Then you need to configure that server with your own mod, but 30mn per match is very hard to achieve ... Unless you do 15-20 round max. You can use that kind of mod : https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=225474 Or more easily : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?l=french&id=477696626
  21. Actually I know that some HDMI KVM support audio over IP. Maybe that kind of stuff can help you out, if you can catch the feed in vlc or something... 4k Over IP I don't have any other idea, good luck for your search !
  22. So for that purpose you can try a KVM but I don't know about the latency...
  23. Unfortunatly HDMI to DP cable only work in one way... so it won't work with standard adapter. But the OP must be able to get something with that kind of active adapter : HDMI-DisplayPort-Converter or more expensive Startech EDIT : The Startech one is cheaper on Newegg : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815158264&cm_re=hdmi_to_displayport_adapter-_-15-158-264-_-Product
  24. You don't NEED to reinstall, but you must delete all the old drivers, and may need to reactivate windows. So no need to reinstall, but it's cleaner if you do.
