  1. I still stand my point, to me SLI/NVLink won't be supported much longer. I think a 1080Ti can easily support 4 EvE client, but I never played that game, so meh.
  2. Indeed, but no NVlink with 1080Ti and no SLI support for EvE anyway
  3. You should be fine, worst case it will throttle down
  4. I really don't see why the MFT prevent you from booting into the BIOs ... But if everythings is good now we are happy
  5. Yep sorry, I misread. So even if you don't boot out of your HDD, if it's still pluged in, you can't boot ?
  6. Disconnect the disk you should be able to boot into the bios. If your windows data are corrupted then you need to reinstall windows
  7. To be perfectly honest, I can't see the benefit of the 1080ti in sli. Most game don't benefit from SLI, or doesn't work at all, and it won't be better in the next release. You can already drive 4 display out of a gtx1080ti. Don't bother with a second one*;
  8. Is your 970 powered by 2 pcie power connector as it should be ?
  9. Connect you monitor to your MOBO with HDMI or DP, you will be able to go into the bios and revert changes.
  10. An SSD is quite important now... Something like this ThinkPad X1 is good perf/value and built like a tank. Dell XPS 15 or 13 second hand should be in that price range too.
  11. They will activate windows just fine, but it's grey market, so illegal because it doesn't fit the CGU of Microsoft
  12. Clearly for your work load, any computer with a 6th gen cpu and a SSD can do the job, you could spend way less than 1400SGD, either by going with second hand hardware or not.
  13. Settings have been applied, since there is no ''apply'' button, and yes the only thing that require a reboot is resolution...
  14. at 250Ohms you will need a amp to enjoy it. But with the 32Ohms one you can also use it on your phone, so if you want a DT990, go for the 32Ohms
  15. Assuming you have 12Gauge wire, that you're operating at 230v, You're curently pulling around 18A when everything is at maximun load. with 300watts you stay barelly under the limit (at max load again). So it's going to work, But you may experience issue if you run everything at theire max rated power.
  16. Well quite frankly 1.2ms isn't really latency. Would you mind running DCP Checker and post the result ? Also are you experiencing audio lag, fps drop and so on ?
  17. Yeah... It depend on where the connector is on the motherboard but quite frankly I don't see any other way
  18. Just disconnect the laptop monitor cable, and it should output to the VGA
  19. It could be a driver issue, if you can find the right driver it should work. Or you can go with a ps2 to usb adapter wich usually doesn't require driver
  20. Type "msinfo32.exe" in the start menu's search box, then upload the screenshot of what you can see.
  21. We may need to know your Motherboard model, CPU model, RAM model and so on
  22. Can you give us the full config ? MoBo, GPU, CPU, ...
  23. You could buy second hand DDR4, it's the only "cheap" way
