  1. Free speech LOL. I live in a commie shithole. How about my current mobile operator getting my GPS location when I'm abroad or after I return. Is it stored somewhere?
  2. Does Androind store any data about previous sim cards that have been inserted into the phone? Can the current mobile operator access this info?
  3. will it do as good a job as realtek? Does realtek have a software or hardware thing to handle this ?
  4. The story goes like this. I've got Z170a MI3 by MSI. I installed a generic driver R2.82 on the december the 11th to get echo cancellation cos MSI drivers goes with this Nahimic crap that make sounds even worse. It worked fine without nahimic. I just didn't have echo cancellation. Anyway and after installing R2.82 my microphones start to make white noise. I;ve tested all the mics I have so it's not them. I noticed the white noise issue recently. I've checked lots of my game play recordings and figured the problem showed up after i installed the driver. At least it seems this way on the surface. So I decided to install the driver I used before R2.82. It helped the thing a little bit but the while noise was pretty much still there. Then I isntalled R2.82 again and funny it sounds it made the white noise even quieter. It's the same damn driver then made lots of white noise and after installing another and resintalling R2.82 it makes less white noise! What the hell?! How do you i know? I made recordings every time to see the difference and I can clearly hear it. The whole thing puzzles me like crazy. The other day I moved a table a little bit and my mike started to make some submarine noise. Then I moved my table little bit it was gone. I made sure that the mic's cable wasn't touching anything. Was it some kinda interference? I disabled all unnecessary devices in the manager for playing and recording. There's no new electronics that I installed lately in my room to affect the microphone. I've updated my BIOS and chipset drivers just in case Can this be something inside the case? What else can I do? Realtek chip mic jack died on the day I installed the new driver? Too much of a coincidence? Some else affected the mic or the realtek chip on that day? Too much of a coincidence? Anyone has any ideas?
  5. Isn't it specifically for calls?
  6. Any sound cards with (acoustic) echo cancellation on the market? Yeah I do love playing with my speakers on and record that. So far it has worked pretty good for me but my realtek is acting up Googling it i couldn't find much at all
  7. Never moved it in 6 years
  8. Nosegate is crap. It's touch and go Any other options?
  9. The monitor is 6 years old. This thing showed up only 6 months ago. I didn't apply any pressure too. while transporting but showed up 5 years later?
  10. What do you mean by pressure? Most likely not but I ask it anyway - Is there anything I can do about it?
  11. I hate wearing headphones while playing and recording. I know wearing headphones is the best and simple way to avoid echo but I can't bring myself to play like this. I really like playing with speakers. Could you guys recommend a mic to minimize the echo? Shotgun mics? Cardoid mics? Low sensitivity mics? What's the better option here? It's a combination of a low sens mic and shotgun mic in one? Or a soundcard that cancels echo pretty well?
  12. I think it showed up 6 months ago. It was a bit smaller than now. What is this thing? I guess I should start looking for a new monitor?
  13. I wanna buy a Shotgun Mike and record gameplay with it without headphones. I hate wearing headphones. I understand it might pick up some background noise from the Speakers but where and how to place a shotgun mike to keep it to a minimum. I mainly concern with echo. That's it. if it picks up keyboard clicks I don't. Is it even an option for gameplay recording? I haven't seen a single vid on youtube testing gameplay recording / streaming with a shotgun mike and couldn't find anything about it on google. How viable is this? Plus my old Asus motherboard had audio drivers that canceled the echo from the speakers pretty well. My current one doesn't have that. I've got MSI M3 gaming. Is there an audio card to recommended that does echo cancelling or shotgun mike alone will do just fine?

    mic issue

I have a cheap mic by genuis. It's 10 years old. I used to have a mobo P5b-e by Asus that comes with realtek and the software allows me to make it directional (it was called directional beam) . It worked great. Now I have Gaming m3 by MSI and there's no feature like that in the software. the mic picks up everything. Is there anything I can do without buying a directional mic?
  15. I've got Z170A gaming m3 mobo. Installed Nahimic produces lots of noise when it comes to voice recording no matter how much I tweak things. I installed and reinstalled different version of Nahimic and realtek. By try and error I fugured this software is the culprit. Is there a way to get more control over sound without Nahimic? Some generic realtek driver or installing that Sound blaster Cinema lots of people praise and make it work with my mobo or something else?
