  1. Yes! I absolutely love that the community compiled and brought back as much as the content as possiible, I knew that it was happening but wasn't up to date on the details. While the torrent is great, it presents a more difficult barrier of entry for non tech/non data hoarders to access the videos. So I'm still glad they're back up on Youtube. Would you mind if I add a quote of your comment to the post, to provide more context?
  2. Summary Their 800+ videos were restored upon request. The deletion of the channel happened because of a deadline sent by mail to the unmanaged account of DigitalRev TV, which went unnoticed. DigitalRev TV Restores 800+ previously deleted videos. DigitalRev TV a Photography channel had previously deleted the entirety of its back catalog, containing more than 800 photography videos. Kai and Lok were the main hosts and cameramen respectively on DitialRev TV, and released several hundred videos during the 7 years they worked there. After all those years of work Kai left DigitalRev TV 7 years ago, and continued creating high quality photography content on YouTube, followed soon after by Lok. After the main hosts left the channel, DigitalRev TV saw a significant viewership decline, and uploads became increasingly infrequent. The last videos purposefully planned and made for the channel were published 4 years ago, when they uploaded a 3 part series of challenges in 2019, and 4 equipment reviews in 2018. As we can see, the overwhelming majority of the content found on the channel was made during those 7 years where Kai and Lok worked there. With their main cast not present anymore, it soon became clear that keeping the channel running wasn't financially viable, which was made worse by the decline in video uploads. This I assume, lead to the dissolution of the remaining team maintaining the channel. This ultimately was the cause of the channel deletion, the lack of response from the now no longer existing DigitalRevTV team resulted in a mixup with youtube, better explained by the DigitalRevTV team in the following fragment of its announcement via a Youtube Community Post: Upon questioning by @zoomnclick in youtube it was revealed by DigitalRev's founder and CEO Richard Yu, that even though the channel has been brought back, including all its 800+ videos, it will remain unmanaged and unmonitored. It turns out that when the videos were restored even private videos were set to public, however it was decided in the spirit of preserving history (in true data hoarder fashion) to leave them public. This is one of the few cases where lost media is officially restored, a huge win for data preservation, keeping a library of invaluable educational and entertaining photography content alive, for more people to see and get introduced to the hobby. 3. I have no idea, If I can build the PC but not repair it then I may be obligated to stop supporting warranty, but my biggest fear is that I will no longer be allowed to independently build them.
  4. I would tell you that im offended for you talking shit about my country but to be honest, i want to get out of the shithole myself so yeah... our situation down here is getting pretty rough... it's a great time for tourists tho, just not for locals...
  5. wait until you hear they turned down and actively rejected a billion dollar initiative to go solar, and the opportunity to have a tesla gigafactory installed. Uh also the president is building a train all over the most valuable enviromentaly protected virgin jugnle on the south, and guess what, they rejected the electric train opportunity, and went for diesel, MEXICO IS A DUCKING JOKE IM TIRED OF MY COUNTRY.
  6. Summary The Network fo the Defense of Digital Rights in Mexico (R3D) warns the public that a law has been aproved that would have consequences spanning internet censorship and even reduced freedom of speech online (something worse than the U.S Net Neutrality Act). This law also means that users will not be ale to repair or modify their electronic devices unless they take them direcly to the manufacturer. Small repair shops will be illegal or prone to high fees; only the big manufacturers will be allowed to continue repairs. And if any device has a software lock, for example the 2018 MacBook Pro, it will be illegal to bypass it, and it will require you to go only to apple. This also means that online censorship is getting to dangerous levels, before as it is pointed out in the article below, there have been entire online publication / newspapers taken down for governmental purposes , to cover up corruption, with the excuse of it infringes copyright law even though they were entirely original contetnt. Before government censorship was present but this law will give them the tools to take down any website or article without needing to provide any explanation at all. Quotes My thoughts Saldy to a tech head like myself this means that my small business involving computer building, computer repair, and computer upgradesh shop may now be illegal to maintain. Suddendly most computer markets that offer small phone repair services may go out of business due to this law. Man Louis Rossman would me mad right now. Mexico has just lost an important battle when it comes to right to repair... 7. Hits 5,625 Mhz A liquid nitrogen-cooled AMD Ryzen 9 3900x has just set a new overclocking world record in the wPrime benchmark, beating the previous title holder, the Intel Core i9-7920X. The feat was performed by Australian overclocker jordan.hyde99, who got the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X to reach 5.63 GHz to complete the tests in just 35 seconds and 517 milliseconds. Beating the 35 seconds and 693 milliseconds of the i9-7920x. I mean I can just imagine what AMD is cooking for us when it comes to future CPU generations. That i9 9900KF crown is in danger and I love it!! https://www.techradar.com/amp/news/liquid-nitrogen-cooled-amd-ryzen-9-3900x-is-the-new-world-overclocking-champ
  8. There is a common thing that happens (in some countries) where internet service providers automatically slow down your network as soon as a certain hour strikes (11pm - 1am). But this is repeatable and normal, so if you're experiencing significant drops in speed then call your ISP and hope for the best. And in the meantime you could use ethernet to get just a little more speed from your now brand new dial up 1990's internet!
  9. I highly recommend you the Samsung 1440p 32" 144hz Curved 4ms Monitor. (LC32JG5) 1.- It is both 1440p and 144hz 2.- It has a 3000:1 contrast ratio 3.- Colors are vibrand and accurate. 4.- CURVED va panel. It is REALLY crisp, the detail is amazing. Just upgraded from a 24" FHD monitor to this 32" behemut and I recommend it 100%. Edit: This is a cheap monitor, its really well priced... I got it for $330 USD and absolutely love it. But you may be able to find alternatives that include a newer freesync version and HDR.
  10. I want just to point out that a 3000 series Ryzen chip is a must. The r5 3600 could be a better choice compared to the r7 2700x, the 3600x is even a better choice, you would be getting less cores but way better gaming performance. The 1070ti is a decent option, and even though RTX cards are not always recommended I would advise you to go for the 2060 since it has basically the same performance as the 1070ti but it gives you slight futureproofing when it comes to ray tracing, both of these cards are amazing though!
  11. The MSI has better reviews and boasts great color accuracy. That being said, you should go for a NEW product, if you're going to go for a used one just check it doesnt have dead pixels and finally RENEWED products have a really bad reputation when it comes to Amazon Monitors.
  12. At that price range you're going to be limited to brands like sceptre. I believe they're based on Samsung's Curved VA panels and are 144hz. If you dont like curved panels you'll have a harder time finding a 144hz cheap monitor. https://www.amazon.com/Sceptre-C248B-144R-24-Inch-FreeSyncTM-DisplayPort/dp/B07GG8RVXP This one may need color calibration as one user pointed out but it is dirt cheap!
  13. There's a sweet spot and LInus has pointed it out in several videos but 1440p 144hz displays are the golden standard for gaming. You may be able to find one of those for less than $300 USD
  14. Amazon's best seller monitor is the samsung 24" Curved FHD monitor and I used to own it, at 24" the ppi was decent and text looked crisp and nice... BUT I would advise you to bump up your budget to around $250-300 and buy a WQHD/QHD 1440p monitor. Samsung has a great 27" Curved 1440p 60hz Quantum Dot Monitor and you can find it for around $225 and you could potentially overclock it to 75hz.
  15. I recently bought a 32" Curved Samsung 1440p 144hz VA Monitor and it has great colors and contrast, it does not have neither HDR nor IPS technology but for $330 it was right in my budget and I still consider it a great deal.

  17. That thing is not capable of outputting 350 Stable watts, that will be its maximum wattage and for 1 sec... if you install a 1060 that thing wont leave anything for the MOBO and all components will be underpowered! MAX Wattage can only be achieved by these power supplies at most for a couple seconds, sometimes not even 1... also , as components and air gets hotter the performance drops, The case with these PSUs is that normally they really give 50% of the printed wattage to the components while they pull 66% of the labeled/printed wattage from the wall. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/how-much-power-can-a-generic-500-w-power-supply-really-deliver/5/
  18. That thing is ancient... maybe just maybe change it... it could have fried something inside the card because of poor air flow and overheating or maybe it is just reaching the end of its life. Check if the GPU is correctly placed in the pci-e slot Check if your cables are connected correctly in both ends (i bet you did this but i'll say it anyways) Check PSU cables Change the GPU to another slot RUN AIDA64 to check if any of your components are over stressing.
  19. you could easily cause a short. Maybe keep trying to clean it completely , since it without a doubt could kill both your cpu and motherboard. This comment is no different than the ones before it, i just wanted to confirm what they said.
  20. I would totally recommend the Bose Quiet Comfort 35
