  1. Hello! So I currently have an Intel I7-7700K and it works fine. With that said there are some quality of life issues I am having with the motherboard. This is my fault for cheaping out on it and is something I regret however the board I am talking about is the B250M-DS3H. Some of the issues I'm encountering is things such as clearance issues with the GPU and the RAM, it's really difficult to take the RAM and graphics card out without feeling like I'm about to break something and also not having enough fan headers for all of my case fans and it's just frustrating really. Anywho, looking to get a new motherboard I saw the Ryzen 3700x for £260 and a Tomahawk B450 Max for £100 on Amazon (UK) and so I thought well... If I'm going for a new motherboard then I might as switch to Ryzen and so I placed an order on a 3700x and the B450 board. Now I'm thinking I'm a bit stupid because the 4000 series is launching but I don't know how massive the difference would be and it is still a fair bit away from launching plus, I've seen people in similar situations with people saying the 7700K is still one hell of a CPU and that they should stick to it. Now I wouldn't mind but I can't handle the frustrations of this motherboard so I'm now stuck in either just upgrading the motherboard and keep my 7700K or bite the bullet and keep my 3700x and Tomahawk Max order. If I do upgrade to Ryzen I would not plan to upgrade in a while whereas I don't when I would with the 7700K. Opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :D
  2. Thanks for your view on the matter. I've managed to find the MSI monitor £50 cheaper on Argos though the hoteudeals. I may have just found my new favorite site.
  3. Hello, so I've been using a Philips 1080p 60Hz 21.5inch monitor for some time now and want to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz display. I've come to realise however that it's easier said than done given the number of options there are and my limited knowledge when it comes to monitors as I've always previously focused on parts for PC like CPU, graphics etc. Anywho, I've come across two monitors with the same price point and am struggling to see which one is the better buy. I was wondering if I could get some opinions on these options. 1 (Dell 2S719DGF): https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dell-S2719DGF-Anti-Glare-LED-backlit-Monitor/dp/B07HRZ57ZZ/ref=pd_rhf_ee_p_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=YSAFGBYE8GGGRAA62M5W 2 (MSI Optix MAG271CQR): https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MW4RZGS?pf_rd_p=330fbd82-d4fe-42e5-9c16-d4b886747c64&pf_rd_r=5FZ3CCHKH3RT03X67FJF Thanks in advance
  4. Just thought I'd say I have received it and it works perfectly. Thanks again.
  5. Oh it's not available in the UK. Would this one work? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-HDTV-Supporting/dp/B01672IR6I/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1484411565&sr=1-1&keywords=Cable+Matters+Gold+Plated+DisplayPort+to+HDTV+Cable+6+Feet
  6. Thank you ever so much!! I'll update on the situation soon
  7. Will do In the meantime is it possible if you could suggest me a cable that would work in my situation so I don't somehow buy the wrong one again lol. I would really appreciate that.
  8. Hmm okay, thanks for your help. I'll probably send it back to amazon and get one that meets what you said. If the cable i have at the moment isn't working by now then you could be right.
  9. Well there HDMI 1 & 2. I've tried both and both say No signal. I've also tried refreshing the TV and I'm getting the same results.
  10. I've tried that. Windows does detect it however there is no difference when I select or change an option.
  11. Woops sorry. Well it's https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01IHFGTOK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'm unsure of the exact number.
  12. Umm, at the back it says Model: T24D390EW (the first one was probably wrong idk) and the Model code is LT24D390EW/XU if that is any help.
  13. Yes, It turns on it's just there is no signal. So it says anyway.
