  1. I just wanted to confirm that both v21.20.16.4508 & v21.20.16.4526 are compatible with Kaby Lake iGPU and Windows 7 x64. They work fine for the most part. I found two glitches: 4508 - it has a performance issue with the Cinebench R15 CPU test. 4526 - scaling doesn't work for some resolutions.
  2. Anandtech used Windows 7 x64 in their I7-7700k Kaby Lake review. So Windows 7 works just fine on Kaby Lake. I don't think AMD is going to shoot itself in the foot either.
  3. Because 21.20.16.4526 WHQL is the last version that will let you install HD Graphics 630 on Windows 7 x64. Newer versions provided by Intel won't install on Windows 7. If anyone has HD Graphics 630 and run Windows 7 x64, please share your experience. Thanks a lot!
  4. I'm sorry for not providing an official link but Intel doesn't seem to provide one. 21.20.16.4526 WHQL should be OK though. The version number is not weird. it's just the way it is: Why does an Intel graphics driver have two version numbers associated with it? Asrock is providing a newer driver version 21.20.16.4542 which is not compatible with Windows 7 x64 and Kaby Lake iGPU. MSI is now providing an older driver version 21.20.16.4508 which seems to be compatible with Windows 7 x64 and Kaby Lake iGPU.
  5. anticeon, I think you misunderstood my question. Here is what I found so far: Intel HD & Iris Graphics Drivers Version 21.20.16.4526 WHQL works with HD Graphics 630 and 100 series chipset motherboards on Windows 7 x64. Windows 8.1 should probably work, too. Newer versions doesn't. I have no idea if this works on 200 series chipset motherboards. We need more testers
  6. Does anyone know if Intel HD & Iris Graphics Drivers Version 21.20.16.4526 WHQL works with HD Graphics 630 on Windows 7 x64? These video drivers include Kaby Lake iGPU device IDs. Have a look at igdlh64.inf line 155 and devid.info/237509 Does 2D / 3D run without crashing on Win7 x64?
