Not a lot of info to go off of, but I would say, if you already have the psu, give it a shot, unless its a real janky one cheap one. If you have not purchased a psu yet, get a 600-650 w gold rated psu.
Ill try my current psu its seasonics psu so its epic

Wattage is more than enough, just depends on the PSU model.

They'd have to include a new motherboard in the budget if they go that route.
BIOS version F62 should include support for both, according to Gigabyte.

Good, because i have never before updated bios

You should probably get a 5600 or 5600X. You're not going to notice the difference with anything higher if it's for gaming, and the motherboard is probably too weak to handle anything better. Just remember to update the BIOS before upgrading the CPU.
Alright ill get that Ryzen 5 5600, thanks

I just want to upgrade cpu because its pretty old, also i want more fps on bf2042
Current parts
Amd Ryzen 5 2600
Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB
GeForce RTX 2070 ROG Strix Gaming OC 8GB
Seasonic 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1, mATX
Budget is like 400e, it can be a bit more expensive if a bit extra would make big difference

*SOLVED* KB5001391 KB5001330 KB5003173, uninstalled those windows updates and everything seems to work now
-
it seems like the "dead" time is like 30 seconds and then it works it seems like it could be some driver issue or win10 issue possibly
-
Yo, my focusrite scarlet suddenly doesnt detect my mic occasionally, then it works again for some random time, ive replugged everything, windows is up to date, there's no problem in headphones, just the mic has the problem

Fixed is fixed.
Could have been some bad info in nvram, might have been driver related. Who knows. Hopefully it stays fixed right.
yeah ill let you know if it does a comeback

When it is happening, does it stop if you unplug your mouse or keyboard?
If so, one of them might be going bad, have a driver issue or ?
But as mentioned, when its scrolling, unplug your keyboard and/or mouse to see if one of them is causing it, or if its in the OS/Software somehow.
Also, if its scrolling and you unplug the mouse, if the scrolling stops, does it come back as soon as you plug back in the mouse (or keyboard)?
i tried reinstalling drivers again and i took power off from my pc till the cmos light from motherboard went off and now theres no scrolling issues left what the hell lmao

I’d wait a month for nvidia 3000 to come out. That will likely create some fantastic 2000 series deals. But a 2070 super would be an amazing upgrade, especially if you can find a good deal on a month or two.
oh yeah, im going to wait then, unless i find good deal for 2070 super
