    Lucidsound LS40

I've been looking at the Lucidsound LS40 wireless headset. I wonder about the dts and surround functions on the headset. My laptop has an optical out with an onboard dac "ESS SABRE HiFi DAC" So my question is, if I connect the optical cable from laptop to the usb dongle, will it give me full function of a dts 7.1 heaset with all controls working? Will I be able to use the computers dac to adjust the settings? And yes I'm only after a wireless headset, not a wired one at all, and yes, it is used for gaming, and no, I'm not an audiofile or interested in the AS50's, logitech933's, arctic 5 or 7. I've looked at the siberia 840's but the LS40 is more appealing. Price for a wireless headset isn't to much of an issue, so if you have any other suggestions of brand, let me know.
  2. I intend having it as an extended display.
  3. Hi everyone I am currently in the process of working out what monitor to get to extend my laptop and make it my primary display. The laptop has a GTX 1080 in it, and I went with the 17.3" FHD 1920 x 1080 IPS WVA Matte 60Hz LED with G-Sync to save a bit of money from the overall price. instead of a 1440p one. If I opt for a 1440p size monitor will I be able to have 2 different resolutions that utilise the full screen or will it be, using the extended display, I end up with the laptop screen with black bars around it as it wants to follow the 1440p monitor, as that seems to happen using win 7, or does win 10 support having 2 different resolutions using extended display. The main thing I use the laptop secondary screen for is teamspeak or looking at a link someone has given me to read if im in a game, or voice attack, so its not a huge issue, but would still like the screen to be utilised at its fullest.
