I have a dual socket x58 supermicro board but it is eeatx which is a tad bigger than eatx. The upside is that it has two low end xeons and two coolers already.

Just take the four screws on the CPU clamp off, then that and the backplates come off. Then you stick new ones on and tighten it down.

Speaking of which, got my HPTX mojo tray from Mountain Mods. Only took like a week and was $40, not bad at all. You can get one with the rear IO/PCIe slot thingie for $70. Just need to get standoffs and such now, then screw it to a piece of plywood or something for a stable base.
 

 
I got the basic brushed one, didn't want to pay the extra $15 for the black anodized version because this is gonna be a test bench and not a for looks rig.

Yep. I love that series. Gotta rewatch it again after I finish with Gundam Seed. 

That is such an awesome board, if it ever needs a new home you should let me know

IDK exactly. It was listed as broken so it shouldn't work at all, I derped around with power cycles, some jumpers, removing the CMOS battery, etc. Then it eventually just started booting, but only with a single CPU.

Has an i7 920 rn, will need to pick up another X5675 or something for it, but that can wait till after I move.

The old e5530s where locked at 5.6 or something on QPI, I was able to installed both the x5675's I got and get 6.4 QPI and everything seems to be working fine now.

LMG is under no obligation to feed your opinion of apple. They are their own company and if they don't want to like apple then they don't have to. I'm tired of seeing people complaining about LMG being "anti-apple."

I have heard people argue that they need to be more neutral because they provide tech news. They don't need to do anything. They are a media company that provides entertainment, which often includes tech news. They are under no obligation of any kind to be sensitive to anybody's opinions about anything. It would be nice if all news sources were entirely unbiased but they aren't and they don't need to be.
