  3. Thinking of using these adapters. Bad idea or okay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Computer-PC-Fan-4-Pin-Molex-Female-To-3-Pin-Female-Adapter-Cable-Lead-Wire-/112092217943?hash=item1a19378257:g:1yQAAOSwV0RXreFV http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Pin-ATX-4-Pin-LP4-Molex-to-8-Pin-EPS-Power-Adapter-Cable-20cm-/380417127745?hash=item5892a0b541:g:ArMAAOSwk5FUulM6
  4. I Have a fan that I want to install in my case but I have ran out of 3pinnd 4pin fan headers on my motherboard. I want to adapt it to go into my power supply and just run at full speed however i do not have any molex connectors on my psu. What should I do?
  5. Cheers fam bam lul. Ill try to replace the compound if possible on the chipset boii.
  6. I'm going to somehow mount a 120mm fan over it tomorrow to see if that helps cool the chipset
  7. That was under a synthetic cpu load to show the multiplyer drop. I will try guetto mounting a 120mm fan over it to see if that helps
  8. I'm having trouble interpreting the temps shown in the bios. It's the northbridge that I think is the problem. How do I check the MBO temps?
  9. I have tried disabling turbo boost, amp cool and quiet and a few other thing which unfortunately didn't help.
  10. System specs: CPU - AMD FX8350 @4.02ghz Cooler - Corsair h55 watercooler Motherboard - Asus m5a97 le r2.0 GPU - Asus gtx 960 strix 2gb Memory - 16gb (4x4) corsair vengeance 1333mhz PSU - EVGA 650w gold I have been experiencing cpu multiplier drops from 20.5x to 7.0x and a voltage drop from 1.36 - 0.8v under load. It's definitely not my cpu overheating as it runs at around 45 degrees under load and is water cooled with a corsair h55. The chipset is very hot to the touch at idle and gets insanely hot whilst gaming. I have tried underclocking and and undervolting to reasonable levels with no luck. This results in massive fps drops in batllefield 1 from a solid 60fps to about 15 fps or so after a few minutes of gaming then returns to 60fps after a few minutes and this repeats over again.
