  1. Gamers nexus did a report on i5s in gtaV getting really bad stuttering when moving at high speeds while driving or flying sounds like that might be what's going on look it up and see if it's similar to what you have going on
  2. I had a similar problem with my 1070 saw that my CPU was pinned and gpu usage was hovering around 50-70% and getting huge frame stuffers in some games. so I upgraded my CPU to something that could handle it and all problems are fixed my CPU runs around 50% and my gpu can run at 100% with no frame studdering from CPU bottleneck.
  3. I recently got a 460x and it was my first time building a pc and while yes it does feel like there isn't much room inside for cable management it wasn't impossible it helps a lot if you use a fully modular power supply. I used the rosewill quark 1000 and the only complaint from that was a bit long and blocked some of the cable management hole in the pay shroud. Another thing I did to help with cable management was remove the ssd tray on the back I don't have any 2.5 drives and if you did you could probably throw them in the 3.5 bays in the bottom of the case. It is a bit challenging to build in but it being my first build I did it all by myself and it turned out looking great. I'm not entirely sure how the 570x is but with the 2 tempered glass sides on the 470x it's all I ever see and feel like the other sides would just never go noticed
  4. So I recently got a 250gb intel 600p m.2 drive and was going to migrate my os over to it using paragon well when I went to do that i was unable because my 1tb hdd is too full so I was thinking about just clearing everything on it but my os and start from scratch as I don't have anything that I can't redownload from the internet but idk how to go about doing that so any comments would help if there is an easier way to do this let me know please and thank you
  5. So I'm getting tired of repurchasing earbuds every few months from bad materials or build that seem to never last long and sound ok at best. So I was looking to get better earbuds but I have no clue what's good or bad or what's a good deal or not. My budget is ~$100 and the only thing I really require is a mic/controller on the wire i actually use it quite a bit and something that will last me a long time. Any and all recommendations are appreciated thank you.
  6. Oh my bad I misread yea idk if there would be an easy way to do that maybe you could find a switch that would stop the tv from detecting them but I'm not sure
  7. Try right clicking on your volume button in the bottom right and going to devices and see if you can disable headphones (just right click on the device that you're headphones are and it should say disable)
  8. Does anyone know where to get individually sleeves cables for the rosewill 1000 quark I've looked around and haven't found anything
  9. Upgrading my computer and not sure which to upgrade to. The 7700k has the best specs but it stretches my budget a little far. The 7700k and 6700k both have some really good combo deals that fight right into my budget and have all the upgrade parts I'm looking for. My budget is $850-$900 for everything but a video card which I already have a gtx 1070. The system will be used for mostly gaming at 1080p 144hz and might possibly get a second 1070 for sli in the future. Any thoughts and opinions are welcome
  10. my current pc is below the ram a and psu is a little different but i couldn't find the exact ones i have on pcpartpicker but it gets the specs right PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($238.48 @ Amazon) CPU Cooler: Intel BXTS15A CPU Cooler ($29.89 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($39.99 @ Jet) Memory: Mushkin Essentials 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($44.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.33 @ OutletPC) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB SC Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card ($379.99 @ Newegg) Case: Enermax Thorex ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Rosewill 500W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ Newegg) Optical Drive: LG GH24NSC0B DVD/CD Writer ($16.88 @ OutletPC) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit ($99.99 @ Amazon) Total: $959.53 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-03-01 11:47 EST-0500
  11. Yea I wasn't quite sure how the whole ryzen 7s would do at gaming due to most games only needing really good single core performance but I've noticed almost all games i play are being severely bottlenecked by my current CPU to where my gpu is only at 50% load at times. And I know that it is game dependent whether or not it's CPU or gpu intensive but across the variety of games this has been a common thing. I was also debating on getting a second 1070 in the future for sli and seeing how the ryzen x370 motherboards are the only ones that support sli I guess that's the chipset I would have to use. Random thought why did amd amd choose to go with so many different chipsets for the ryzen series it seems very unnecessary
  12. I'm looking to upgrade nearly my whole pc except my gtx 1070. My budget is 850-900$ and the things I was looking to get are as follows CPU Mobo ram psu (prefer fully modular) case (was thinking a S340 elite) m.2 ssd and a aio water cooler for the CPU the pc will be used mainly for gaming @1080p 144hz on games like overwatch, gta 5, witcher 3, and rise of the tomb raider. I guess my main question would be should I go for the ryzen 1700 or the i7 7700k. I'm not entirely sure on which one has to offer in gaming terms but thought I'd reach out for some help and thoughts.
  13. So I'm new to this whole forum thing but i was looking to get suggestions on my build and what to upgrade to get overall better performance. I use my PC mostly for gaming but the reliability of the frame rates in games are starting to diminish. i would also like to future proof any upgrades i get as much as possible in an effort to not have to upgrade the same parts every other year. I was looking to get the new gtx1070 graphics card but im not sure if any of my hardware will bottleneck it. i would also like to know what mobo would be good for an upgrade. The one in my machine doesnt have much for expansion slots or even ram slots. On the subject of ram would it be better to go with 2x8gb or 4x4gb for gaming uses im not sure what works better. any and all discussion is welcome and appreciated.
