  1. I put the card in another pc and the max boost was 1740, just as advertised. Looks like I will have to reinstall windows since I cant see any other option
  2. Hi all, I tried out the auto oc in Geforce Experience but found it made my gpu perform about the same with much more heat generated. In Geforce I disabled the auto oc feature but when looking at my clocks and temps it seems to be still enabled. I uninstalled Geforce and DDUed by driver but the overclock is still applying. I have a feeling that even after the uninstall and DDU some kind of nvidia service is still running. I know that MSI afterburner has the auto oc feature as well but I haven't touched it. Any insight would be much appreciated GPU. Normal clock: 1740, NVIDIA's OC: 1935, sometimes 1950 https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Graphics-Cards/Dual/DUAL-RTX3060TI-O8G/
  3. Hi all, Today I experienced a random reboot and went to the bios to change my boot order to run memtest. Everything worked fine and the ram passed. A couple hours later and I went back into the bios to check some fan settings but was met with a frozen homepage and a frozen mouse cursor. The time in the corner of the bios was also frozen. I’m on the latest bios for my board and haven’t done any overclocking. My board also has some lights for cpu and ram issues but none were lit up. Current setup is a MSI B550M Mortar with a 5600x, g skill 2x8 3600, 3060 ti and a seasonic 650w. Thanks to anyone who can help.
  4. I got myself a 5600x from a local retailer and ill just put in my old 1060 until stock for the 3070 comes in. Thanks for the help
  5. You can use Windows 10 for free but it won't be activated. Activating allows you personalize windows like changing your wallpaper, start color, etc. -Removed by staff-
  6. Hello everyone, I'm from Toronto, Canada and looking to build a pc centred around a 3070 and 5600x. My budget is $1400 - $1800 CAD. I watched some videos and heard that the 3070 and 5600x go great together but if there are better options please let me know. I need help picking out the motherboard, memory, power supply, and the best 3070 card for my budget. I already have storage, peripherals and the operating system covered. Some cases I was looking into were the Fractal Design Meshify 2 and the Fractal Design Focus G. If there are any better airflow or quieter cases let me know. The main goal of this pc is to be small, quiet, and powerful; all things my current pc struggles with. Some stores around me are Best Buy, Canada Computers and Memory Express. https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca https://www.canadacomputers.com/ https://www.memoryexpress.com/ Thank you to whoever could help me out
  7. Try reseating your memory or run a memory checker https://www.howtogeek.com/260813/how-to-test-your-computers-ram-for-problems/
  8. Might be time to get a new one if you can't inspect the damage
  9. You could try opening it to see if there is any liquid on the circuit board.
  10. Budget (including currency): $1400 - $1700 CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Flight Sim 2020, Cyberpunk, and other demanding games Other details: Im upgrading from a prebuilt gtx 1060, i7 6700. I already have a 1tb ssd and 1tb hard drive so storage is already covered. Some cases I was looking at are the Fractal Design Focus G and the Fractal Design Meshify C. Im still not sure if I should go full ATX or Mini ATX since I want the pc to be small, but quiet at the same time. Here's my current parts list https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/NguyenAirlines/saved/zRMJMp Thanks
  11. asus_vg248qe_svet (2).icm I fiddled around with the gamma settings in Nvidia control panel and tested my results on the Battlefront 2 loading screen
  12. Gotcha, I found an ICC profile that minimizes this effect in videos and games. Thanks for the help badreg!
  13. I was using gameplay from Battlefront 2 and this video I did some digging online and fixed alot of the blockiness when loading battlefront
  14. The monitor is showing up as 8BPC 32-bit. All the settings in the OSD were set to default. No contrast boost or any other enhancements
  15. The 2 bottom images are from YouTube videos. I played these on my old monitor and saw no visible blocks
