Hiya everyone, Just need to advice on if my plan will work or not (I'm not very network inclined, nor have I ever done anything like this in the past). I'm currently renovating my house and I'm looking to get wired internet from my router in my lounge into my office, which is upstairs and on the other side of the house. Powerline adapters are not an option, and we don't have arial running in the house. I'm planning on simply chasing a CAT6 cable from my lounge to my office. With an RJ45 socket on each end. Then plugging my router into the socket in the lounge & then a switch (which will then go to my PC/other things) into the socket in my office. Essentially like this: Before I go chasing cables into cinderblock walls, I just want to make sure my crazy (or no so crazy) plan will actually work). Thank you

Hiya, So lately I've been experiencing a really strange bug (can't think what else to call it) with my PC. Sometimes when I turn my PC on; it will boot normally but before entering windows and getting to the select user screen it, will black screen. No matter how long I leave it won't recover/finish booting. To get around this I need to restart my PC, using the restart button on the case (as appose to holding the power button to power down and then power back up again). There's no pattern to it but it's starting to get more frequent. When I have to do this, it seems to break my Graphics drivers. My PC will then only use the main display (DP) and my secondary screen will not be recognised (HDMI). Both are connected VIA my GPU. Games stutter when played, also. I've tried resetting my graphics drivers using the shortcut, but this does not work. Oddly enough as well, Radeon software will not boot from my PC. Every time this happens, I need to reinstall the software and then when it installs & loads for the first time, I'm met with this (see attached image). Once the drivers are reinstalled & my PC reboots, everything is back to normal. I'm wondering; before I do a re-install of windows & wipe everything; has anyone experiencing something similar? Is my GPU on its way out? Specs are in my signature. Couple of things I've ready tried/cautions: I always power my PC down correctly (as appose to just switching it off at the wall) Reseating GPU Reseating RAM Completely fresh install of drivers Different HDMI Cables/Different second screen I can't think of anything strange that occurred before this started happening either. I feel like it came out of no where. I've not swapped any parts since building this PC, either.

Aye, I saw they were on Amazon awaiting stock. From past experiences with ordering like that though, I've never got the stuff in time. I would have preferred being able to order everything at once. That's just me though. Seems it might be the only way to get one, thanks for the heads up. Will definitely look into getting one of the other GPUs and a better SSD though, cheers for the advice!

Budget (including currency): £650 Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Overwatch, Destiny, Minecraft, GTA, other similar games. Not really any new AAA titles. Photoshop and general word processing. Maybe some programming. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So I posted over on reddit originally saying I had a budget of ~£500 and was suggested the following parts list for a PC I'm going to build my brother for School/Gaming: However, trying to find a 3300x in the UK at the moment is basically impossible and when you do find them, the prices are horrifically inflated. Since getting this list, I've decided to increase the budget to £650 and this would need to cover everything other than the peripherals as he's already got those. Any help/direction would be greatly appreciated (again) as I'm no good at the part picking side of things

Hey, Wondering if any Excel wizards can help me out here. I'm working on a sheet for a project and I need to set certain cells to highlight when their value is higher than one of two numbers in a data set depending on the current selection of a drop down box. To explain it a little better: I have data in row C from cell 2 through to 26 and they're a percentage between 0% and 100%. I then have 2 sets of fixed data. For example; Set One is 50% and Set Two is 30%. I have a validated cell showing either "Set One" or "Set Two" selected by a drop down. What I need to happen is; If the drop down is set to "Set One" I need the data in C2:C26 to highlight green only if it's greater than 50%. If the drop down is set to "Set Two" I need the data C2:C26 to highlight green only if it's greater than 30%. The percentage for Set One and Set Two could change though, so I can't do it based off a static value, I'll need use use the cell value. I tried setting up conditional formatting for "Highlight Cell Rule > Greater than" and using this formula in the "Greater than" option: =IF(O3="Set One", $L$3, $L$4) This didn't seem to work unfortunately. Any ideas on how this could be achieved? I've made a mock sheet as well (It's a work project, can't post the actual sheet/data for obvious reasons) to try and visualize it as sometimes I can be bad at explaining things:

Best advice is to try and remember what password you used for most things back when you set up the encryption (if you used the same/similar passwords for things). If not, I'm afraid it's gone my dude.

I only speak English (and geordie if you can count that as another language). Other half speaks fluent Russian and English, as a result I know a little Russian.

You're right, being able to run around PVP like Emperor Palatine on steroids is always a blast. When you're doing raids, it's really good for clearing ads on certain encounters as well.

Talking about the ACD/0 Feedback Fence/Pauldron? Running around and punching people with your T-Rex arms for super energy is always fun!
