  1. Ok, I may wait and see how well the 7600k is dice it just released though
  2. Ok thanks for the advice. Also I think he was saying to wait that way the intel prices drop. Not so that I can buy the new amd
  3. Does anybody have any knowledge of overcoming cling and whether I should or not.
  4. Sorry, ignore my last comment. I didn't see your answer before. Thanks for the idea
  5. That's a sweet idea! I may do that! Where can you buy the cable sleeves?
  6. Thanks for the build idea. You do get a good build for $1500. Is the 1080 worth the extra $200 over the 1070 though?
  7. That would be awesome. Where can you buy sleeves?
  8. That does look pretty sick. Thanks for the suggestion?
  9. So first off, i am looking to build my first desktop. I currently have a msi laptop with a 970m in it. I am upgrading for 2 reasons. 1: i have decided that i want to make an investment in a good gaming rig that I will last me a decent amount of time. 2: Im tired of being made fun of by my friends for having the only gaming laptop out of the group (I kid). So i will not waste any more time and get into my build idea. Any comments on any part of the build will be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone is interested in an msi Gaming long laptop, let me know. Budget My budget is around $1300 US. I feel that for $1300 I can get a great build and not break the bank either. My budget is flexible if need be but nothing much ore than $1500. Games So the games i will be playing are mainly some Borderlands 2, Star Wars Battlefront, Rocket league, Gmod, Chivalry, Minecraft, Battlefield 4, and possibly some overwatch or Battlefield 1. I will be using a 2560x1080 25 inch lg ultra wide with a 60hz refresh rate. I know, I know, "only 1080 and 60hz, what a noob." Yes i am a noob. 4k would be great butt the monitors are so exspensive (like $450 I think, correct me if im wrong). Also i got the monitor on sale. I may upgrade to a 1440p monitor. Let me know if you have any good monitor suggestions. It could be one of the dumbest looking dual monitor set ups but a 28in 4k monitor + a 25in 1080p ultra wide = full functionality for any tsk. Uses So for the most part this build will be used for gaming. I may do some light video editing but nothing crazy. VR is a maybe. If the headsets weren't the price of 8 snow blowers (yes, you can get a snow blower for $99 on amazon) then i may get one. High or ultra settings would be great. I know what i have is a bit overkill but i am futureproofing and may end up playing more intensive games. Overclocking? I am unsure i i want to overclock. Im not too knowledgeable on the benefits or consequences of overclocking. I put a liquid cooler in the build for astetics. Any help here would be great. Looks Finaly, when you see the build, i have gone with a black with blue and white accent build. Just think it looks cool and it gives me some freedom if i want to match my setup.
