Saw on wan show that a lot of people seem interested in a NAS setup, (so am I). I've been looking for the right hardware / server case to hold some HDDS and make an awesome build. I stumbled across a weird motherboard from china that has it's own case. it supports up to 32 HDDS in a single 4u chassis witch is perfect for me. the motherboard is marketed as a chia mining board so I don't know if it can be setup to run TrueNAS. i cant just spend $1500 on the case/ motherboard and have it not work. can somebody please check out the Onda D32H-D4 motherboard and try to make a TrueNAS build with plex on it?

watching these guys trying to unbox, and install the processor made me cringe. they should of paid the $86.99

i can't help and wonder..... what if intel changed the image on amazon's page somehow by paying someone, just to decrease sales. because now on related items and suggested items a threadripper is being suggested but you only get that ryzen 3 image.

yeah but a couple days ago they had the correct box on there, now the correct box is the 4th image. its also funny now this shows up.... And im like, that does not fit together, who is building these systems.

I hope amazon does not send me a Ryzen 3, anyways since this is #6 on amazons new releases on computer component section, I would really like to see how many people have bought Threadripper cpu and a comparison to the Intel sales. maybe on release day linus can tell us how many have been sold using affiliate code.

so it would be wise to just request a quote am i right? trying to place a pcie to usb 3.0 card, and maybe 2 sata controller cards.

what would be better. the one on video or the one i posted? in terms of bandwidth seems to me like the pcie 4x to 4 pcie 1x would be a ble to transfer more data than the one on the video

I need to place a couple x1 cards in my system. And i do have one 16x slot free. It runs at 8x. Will this card actualy work. Or is this not possible. I tried searching for a sililar card from startech because they usualy have the wierdest hardware, but i did not find a card. Then i found this one on google http://amfeltec.com/products/flexible-x4-pci-express-4-way-splitter/ but I'm not sure this is legit because nobody else makes them. I would love to see this product on the handy tech under 100, or just reviewd by it's self. I also don't understand why it's so hard to order, you have to request a quote.
