back up your important documents, old game saves, etc in google drive. for photos use google photos. for a backup of your computer as a whole, create a system image you can restore to 

if you have photos, use this https://photos.google.com/apps (like i mentioned before)
just installing at letting it run in the background and back stuff up can save a pain

I know from experience 

use a 3rd party router. Even if you were still planning to buy a 3rd party one, do it. the att stock router is bad. like REALLY REALLY bad. like 1/10 of the speed you paid for right next to the router. that's just my experience, maybe they fixed it or give out different ones now...

for outside and stuff, you should get a shotgun, but for condenser desk or voiceover microphones, i think you should get the blue snowball or ice if on a budget. the extra $20-30 is worth it
