  1. Okay, might seem like a dumb question, but what are the real benefits of having 2 GPUs? I mean you can run a game fine with only one, but why would you need multiple grahpics cards in a personal gaming rig? Is it worth the investment?
  2. I bought that with a $20 rebate, and free shipping, so I really bought it for right about exactly $100, and plus it has 2 more GB
  3. this is an pretty good one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01K1JVQI4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. oh that's be lit! we need to start a petition!
  5. thanks! much help! So adding an 8gb stick to my current setup would be fine then right?
  6. I have 2 sticks of 4GB hyperx fury, so 8GB of ram in my system. If I was to add more ram, do I need the EXACT same RAM. I know you shouldn't cross brands of ram, but does it matter if you cross different amount of ram sticks? (ex. 2 4GB, 1 8GB, would that be ok?) Also does all the ram have to be clocked at the same frequency?
  7. If anyone wants to play some agario, here's the party link: agar.io/#FCNJB Make sure to use the clan tag [LTT]
  8. if you just install windows, then just not type in your acivation key, i dunno how long it'll work without a key
  9. that's strange... on my old laptop where I had 3gb of ram and some other ridiculously low specs where I tried playing games with graphics on high on... I never got that message. I'm just going to tell you what my 6th grade teacher always said if there was a problem: "do a hard shutdown and restart"
  10. how many gigs of ram? try opening up your task manager and watching how much ram is used when you do something to the monitor
  11. If you want something cheaper, i'd try this- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VOUNRT6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3BO4JX52Z9J6S&coliid=I2F5CE7O4QGAPR (excuse the big link) and it also comes with a mouse and mousepad.
  12. Under $50, maybe even under $15, go to your local goodwill or some store like that, and pick out the best one. I found a monitor there for $10 and It actually has good quality and color. If you're not ballin on a budget like me, and you're not an audiophile, go to amazon, and pick out the coolest speakers that fit your setup. And most speakers connect via 3.5mm audio or usb.
  13. Okay, so I was looking up random youtubers on socialblade, and I looked up linus tech tips, and the network he was claimed by was fullscreen. Fullscreen is a TV video streaming service, and I was wondering if anyone actually is subscribed to fullscreen, to see if maybe linus's videos are on there, or something like that. And also while I'm here, could someone explain, exactly what it means to have a network claim you on youtube?
  14. the bye bye man haunted your drives because you built it on friday the 13th
  15. paul's hardware also did a good video how to install a os after you wipe and reformat the drive- ik it say 5 things with a NEW build, but it's really mostly how to install the OS

  18. Would a whirlwind happen with 1 fan on the back and 2 on the front?
  19. sould I buy a 212 EVO then, or does anyone know of any other better coolers under $40 ?
  20. Ok, maybe a noob question, i'm fairly new to pc building, and I want to try and overclock my amd fx-8350. I know it's best to buy a better cpu cooler if you're going to overclock, but would it be fine using the stock fan? Would it be fine, or do I ACTUALLY need a better cooler even for some light overclocking?
  21. i feel like mike rowe soft is slowly turning into an apple
  22. you also have to make sure it fits in the case
  23. So I have the case Zalman Z1 Neo and I'm trying to install my psu, but I'm trying to figure out what screws to use. In the manual for the psu, It says to use the screws that came with your case, but my case came with 4 different kind of screws, but I know the UNC screw is usually for the PSU, and the other M3. So what I'm really asking is what those other 2 types screws would be for, and should I use them for my psu instead.
