america Searching for a cheap weekly mobile data plan in NYC
JackPendragon posted a topic in Networking
So I'm visiting NYC tomorrow and I made myself the question: "How the f*ck am I going to use internet on my phone without having to do the hunt for open wifi hotspots". I've been searching for some weekly cheap ones (since I'm only staying for a week) but the only ones I found were monthly and quite expensive, I'm searching for an around 10-15Gb plan, I don't really care much about high speeds nor calls since whatsapp ones are over internet. (Also, I'm visiting from Spain) Thanks beforehand -
network Kali Linux WiFi not working :(
JackPendragon replied to JackPendragon's topic in Linux, macOS and Everything Not-Windows
You mean the model on my network device? -
So I installed Kali Linux alongside a Win10 laptop divided partition and while I was installing it, something like "Install network drivers" couldn't be installed so I decided to skip it thinking of fixing that later, but the problem comes here. Only ethernet works and when I open up wifi setting nothing shows up, it says "No WiFi adapter found", it also shows error codes on startup (which I'll attach). I really need to fix this because it's kinda useless when I'm not home or plugged in. If you need any information to help me solve this problem just tell me please. I'm also not very familiar with Linux so I don't really know much about it's commands. (Sry for my English btw <3)

OS - Windows 10 x64 (Came installed) Age of system (4 - 5 Years, but I have changed some components) CPU model: I5-4460 Video Card: Gigabyte GTX 960 MotherBoard: Honestly, I have no idea, tried to check in dxdiag but nothing appears Power Supply: Owlotech 700w System Manufacturer: Asus Model: k30ad_m31ad_m51ad Desktop So I've been getting this BSOD [driver_irql_less_or_not_equal (Problem: netio.sys)] this week whenever I was browsing the internet, ran sfc /scannow and it found no errors, then the BSOD changed to [system_thread_exception_not_handled], but netio.sys was still the problem, so I ran Iobit's Driver Booster and no drivers were out of date, I also ran Memtest and also no errors were found. Everytime I start using chrome it crashes after 5 o 6 minutes If you need any other information to solve the problem, please tell me and i'll reply asap. 012019-42093-01.dmp 012019-44328-01.dmp

It's not downloading while doing other things, it's just the game updating, I have even tried stopping some useless tasks but it doesn't seem to work, guess I'll have to earn some money for a new processor
-
Nope, torrents are downloaded in the old HDD and Tixati is installed in Program Files. Btw, game updates slow the PC much more than torrenting

1TB HDD Seagate (Kinda new) (Games are installed here) 2TB HDD Western Digital (Pretty old) 256Mb SSD

Hello! Lately, my pc has been running extremely slow while downloading torrents and updating games (Battle.net, War Thunder, Fortnite...) and it's slowing down websites to the point of freezing them and it's almost impossible to move the mouse because it kinda Desktop Windows 10 Home (x64) Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. K30AD_M31AD_M51AD_M32AD Owlotech BPS 600W TP-Link AV500 (86MB Down. 86'5MB Up) I've had the PC for like 2 years and I have changed the GPU, Ram and PSU.
