I'm looking at buying a computer office chair in the next day or two, and I'm kind of lost. I went to a couple office suppliers near me and they just had the cheap stuff or knock-offs. My budgets is under $500 and I'm hoping to buy something that will get rid of this bad pain I have with my current chair after using it for hours wfh. I was thinking of buying the Herman Miller Celle, as I tried one at the office and liked it, but I've heard bad things about it online so I feel like I just don't have anything else impressive to compare it to, Either that or it just fits me personally well. I tried out the aeron B, and I didn't really like it even after I adjusted the lumbar, but I also didn't touch the other settings. not a huge fan of the cheaper herman millers' either. Two things: I'm tall, 6'3, under 200 lbs I can get the Celle refurbished for $360 from a local supplier, and am thinking I'll pull the trigger, but would like to hear other opinions before I purchase because I'm an indecisive person .

I used to watch this american tech youtuber who has a swedish flag in the back of all his videos. He mostly does videos about programming careers. Trying to reinstall windows on my dad’s new laptop so it doesn’t have any bloatware when he uses it. I’ve created windows installation flash drives using a windows iso and rufus. Both drives I made don’t show up in the boot part of the bios, not can they be booted from using the f10,f11, or f12 keys. The exact model is the Acer aspire 5 A515-56-54KJ the bios is InsydeH20 when I attempt to boot from USB using the windows restoration tool, I get this message. I’m trying to figure out if this message is because the manufacturer made booting from USB impossible on this motherboard, or if it means that it simply does not detect the drive. Fast boot:disabled Secure boot:disabled I tried clearing TPM, I tried loading setup defaults, no avail.

My dad’s work sent him a laptop and multiple monitor setup, and I’ve been putting it together. They sent a dock that takes usb c from the laptop, and connects to two monitors, a mouse and a keyboard. The problem is that the laptop charges through usb C, so when he’s using the dock he can’t charge his laptop. Are there “splitters” out there that can send information to the dock aswell as charge the laptop at the same time? He’s using the thinkpad p53s

Moved into an apartment complex that has no ethernet and compared to the laptop I have, my desktop has crazy high ping and low speeds (with the old ass card that's in there now). I honestly know nothing about cards. Tell me a decent wireless card under 50, and I'd appreciate it. Thanks

The big tech campuses promote a culture where “everything you need is at work” free gyms, massages, showers, entertainment etc. which leads to people spending a lot of their personal time on campus, and working longer hrs. Good for the company as it promotes loyalty because your social life is engrossed in the company, but bad for the employee long term. Imo it’s best to make your closest friends and have the majority of your social life outside of work. Dating too.

I’m with WFH policies. Companies can get more qualified candidates that exist outside their region (the bay area), and those employees have a chance at better jobs without having to uproot their lives.

Hi guys, I need suggestions for some on-ear bluetooth headphones. I'm going to use them pretty much only for workout music, don't need surround sound or anything of that nature, just have to be very breathable and comfortable. I also can't use earbuds due to my ear shape as they have only been painful and fall out when I'm lifting or running in my experience. I've been using some sony mdr-xb950bt 's but they always end up breaking after a few weeks. Something like that but more durable would be perfect. Trying to keep it under $50.

If if your prebuilt doesn't come with a hard drive no biggie, just buy one for $30 I did this and my pc was about $250 before I got an ssd and unnecessary stuff.
