    i picked up a used one of these and so far it looks like a lot of people have the same issue with this exact model. couldnt find a solution yet, ill test it tomorrow with my main system where i know the PSU is good. i dont have much hope tbf. i suspect smthn faulty on the power delivery side of the card, bet the logic part it totaly fine.

    oh, ur right. the slot looks fine, no dust or debris. the problem is: i dont want the "delay" linus talks about. i only switch the cable to make sure the pc is still working, long after it should have shown smthn out the GPU DVI.

    https://www.gigabyte.com/de/Motherboard/GA-Z77X-UP7-rev-10#ov so, this motherboard has overall 5 pcie 16x slots. the second one (black slot) would be the ideal slot for a single gpu setup, as linus claimed in his video many many moons ago ( i watched it many times BUT if i seat the card in that slot i cant get it to post. no problems in the first and i belive in the 3rd slot. it boots fine, since i just take the dvi cable and plug it into the board itself and by that time it would already be in windows. disableing the igpu makes no difference. the card is a asus 980ti strix. cpu is a 3770 with random 4x2gb 1333mhz ram. is there a magic bios option wich would help me? would it make any noticeable difference at all? i bet it would in csgo tbh, also i take what i can get for bf5.

    think it must not necesarily do the sound if something is broken, i still advise u to check the cable. open the mouse and try to measure from usb to the internal board. try to bend the cable and measure again. build a test device from a battery and a little light bulp.

    if the cable is broke u get similar matters, i experienced it myself, the warranty was void so i desoldered the cable, took a piece out and resoldered the new ends, runs for a good 4 years again, before about 6, my 518 is about 10yo, just sad it wont be enaught for 4k resolution. the cable most likely broke near to the mouse. btw., r u getting the usb detatch sound?

    ok army, i have a special task for u. i demand the linus tech tips army to spread out and keep on diggin the darkest cornest of the internet for benchmark result im in desperate need to find. i have the opportunity to buy 2 gtx 570s cheap from 2 different sources. they are the double vram versions with 2560mb instead of 1280mb. i was only able to digg this video up where he tests loudness.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRBojYO1MbQ and triple sli, but with comment about dual from the guy. maybe one of u has two of those? thank u and brofist i think it takes only the last link for a preview, but its 2 links

    that was a rly nice step up in contend.. pls keep it coming. the gloves and glasses cutting, f..n awsome, more of that bran. its the "nerd life tips" it once got me subscribed here.. the good ol times in ncix cellar, where linus just couldnt keep his mouth shut about aany pc info came throught regardless of what was meant to be in the vid..buut im drifting away, what i meant is, i like this outside the box contend just as much as i like the very inside stuff u still provide mostly entertaining to me. i hope this is somewhat clear english, thought u rly wanted the feedback here, better post this in ltt 2, cheers

    direct dvi cabel gives error.. the monitor goes black and the fans spin high on the gtx570.. so->bad! glad its alive i think

    hi, i have a geovison 1480as or so, this: http://www.geovision.com.tw/english/Prod_GV1480B.asp it has 2 DVI one is audio one is video. my question is, can i use it as a capture card to capture battelfield? just daisy chain with dvi: fail, but nothing broke do i need a device or a cable maybe? i have gtx 570 i5 2400

    the bench speaks for itself pretty much. i thought it is pretty amazing, its a titan gaining about..exactly 28.1percent! if im right, from a freaking 630. the artikle talks about weaker cards, like 5 or 670s , would benefit even more.
