will a converter work from xbox one s hdmi 2.0a output to a dispalyport?

hi, I have a benq monitor with HDMI 1.4 input and DisplayPort, will xbox one s HDMI 2.0a work with my monitor to play games on 4k resolution? or should I use a signal converter and use the displayport? thanks

solved it .. was driver issue when loading windows at startup. thanks

hello all ,, I don't know what to pick from this list to get the best result in playing 4k and 1080p movies using potplayer in windows 10. High performance software decoding mode. DXVA renderless decoding mode. CUDA decoding mode. Intel QuickSync decoding mode. I use MadVR as video renderer and LAV filters 0.69 as a decoder filter and splitter. Cheers

hello all .. I installed a new graphic card on my pc (asus gtx 1060 strix oc), and now my pc shuts down suddenly just on first time I switch it on. then I have to switch it on again and works fine! It only shuts down in the first time only! does any one know what might be the cause of this weird issue? my psu is coolmaster v850

So I have to change the resolution on each display every time I use it too look perfect?!! that is not cool at all. thanks

I have a tv and 4k monitor, I want to have a different resolution for each device, because 4k resolution look way too small on tv and when I choose 1080 it look zoomed on the monitor!! how can I fix this issue and have the best resolution for each device? I don't extend displays at all. thanks

I don't want it for games guys. I just want it to work on my 4k monitor that only has a slot for display port which is not available in my current graphic card. sorry for not mentioning that at start.

will it fit on the motherboard? it is not a full size motherboard.

I'm new to this forum and I need your advice on upgrading my pc with a new graphic card that supports 4k@60hz (don't know if there is more than 60hz cards) with a must displayport connection because my monitor only accept this option to play 4k.
