So my AQC-107 in my Asus Zenith Extreme Alpha just isn't working. Not liking the new Ubuntu. Anyone else seeing that too? IP configs don't stick Speed not there I updated the driver. Reinstalled Ubuntu. On reboot the NIC jumps to 10.0.0.1 even though I set it to 10.2.2.1. I try to disable the card and restart it and now it says it doesn't even see the card. Trying ip link set "dev" ip Returns "RTNETLINK answers: No such device or address" I have read others too with this problem but no solution. I can't believe a distro this big isn't working on it.

Agree Tech FOMO is gross. I which the industry would back tighter standards. That make it easier to Measure. Like any discipline expert create 100s of metrics important to their field but not consumers so much. 4k is minimum. I like future proofing as much as I can. And yes I know 8k is technically pointless especially in a 26x 21 room. The reason I like going one step over on my tech is less stress on the components. I look buying used Enterprise gear because I know no matter what I personally do I can't stress them.

Is there are possible why to get a Pi to connect via UBS to a console but have a Network Share mounted to the pi appear as removable media? Via emulation? Especially with home theater sizes. OLED are now being made 90". Most home theater are 100-120' OLED Pros/Cons Pros: Cost, 8k, HDR black levels Simple mounting Brightness CONS: Size limit Less Movie theatre feel. Projector: Pros: Its a projector Movie feel No practical screen size limit Can match OLED 8K HDR Cons: OLED quality is $$$ Projector and Screen $12K Similar OLED $6K I can simulate a movie theatre with proper lighting, audio, seating, and snacks. Curious though what would you guys prefer? JVC top projector is $22k. Mid Range about 10K As much as a silver screen and projector is nice. #1 priority is image quality. Which I feel is OLED's win. Again Silver Screen feel does that something extra. (It will be a black out room) I am 100% open to being wrong.

Only in the last month. I have a 10gbe connection between a windows 10 and Ubuntu Server. Both machines are also connected to a pfsense router and separate public Wifi (I live in a traveler trailer for work) So yes 3 networks. This has to be a easily identified error or setting issue. Please help

Rampage Vi Extreme gen 1 Asus 1080ti 3 Samsung ssds Asus 10gbe Nic (in addtion to the onboard) 1600 AXi Windows 10 So just recently. My 10Gbe card both of them report (Network) cable unplugged. Randomly. I currently only use 1 the onboard to directly connect to my server (tested all ports working fine) I am also connected to my Lan and a public wifi in addition to P2P connection to my server. ALL of which are on different subnets. I tried cleaning out the ports, 3 different cables, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. Disable restarted enable restart, ping test, troubler shooter It will work fine one minute and randomly say the network Cable is unplugged and it does while I am just watching a Movie. I get no lights what so ever out of the ports or card indicator. During plug and unplug All power management is off in the properties. I would think it was a faulty card but the fact the add-on also has the same issue points to a software issues. I check Asus driver page nothing either. All I get is cable unplugged. The 1gbe and wifi are working.

Ok what is the deal with stacking and how to do it. So does stacking just put all the docker-compose files in 1 file. Yes I understand docker-compose and stacking are pretty much the same. I want to set I my container in a stack with full control by portainer. I use an App template and set up and deploy the container. But why can't I then add that container to a stack. I want to back up the stack file so I can redeploy whenever I need to.

Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS I have random audio static pops up while watching videos. I have to kill firefox and restart. Sometimes that doesn't even help. Anyone else have this problem or a fix?

So finished a resilver. About 500 corrupted files. Luckly most of them were from my Torrent Working folder so losing something that wasn't there to start with. But It says it is still replacing 2 disks. Deleted all problem files. How do I get the old disks that are removed from the machine to go offline.

I have one drive that is still readable if I can copy the image to the new drive and replace it that way the pool should tell the difference right?
