I have been using my razer epic naga chroma edition mouse for about a year now. It has never had any issues up until yesterday when it decided that it would not work when it was in wired mode (which is what i prefer to have it in). It will come up with a Windows notification that says "USB device not recongnized - The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." every time that i try to plug it in. I have update the razer synapse to the latest version. I have gone to device manager where it shows the USB as an unknown one, not allowing me to update its drivers.
