2 cards, like different GPU? Saw some people running 1080tis with 1070s in 1 rig, so I'm 100% sure that's not it. Yes, all are connected,

Installed a riser cable for a gtx 1060 for this motherboard GA-970A-DS3P . The two installed 1070tis are detected but the 3rd card on the riser isn't. Any tips how I could make it work? Reinstalled drivers didn't fix it. Will updating the BIOS fix it? (I can't see PCI-E settings on the BIOS). Any seasoned miner care to help me out

Man that sucks. I intend to buy a lot of these for my mining rig. They come cheap and they do have decent build quality and specs. Sad.

My friend lost his other 8pin cable on his Seasonic M12 520W PSU. He recently bought a used R9 380 for cheaps but it needs 2 6pin PCI-E cables. Will using this be safe? Anyone tried it? I am aware a 6pin is 75W while an 8pin is 150 so theoretically it could work. I have the GSkill TridentZ 3200MHz CL16 kit at 1.35V. Will 1.45~1.5V allow me to reduce it to around CL14?

How much does it increase tempts? Anyone tried it? Planning to use 2mm acrylic and some thermal pads underneath it.

As the title states, I'm hoping someone here already tried removing the heatpsreaders of the G.Skill TridentZ (non-RGB/LED) ram sticks. I'm planning to watercool them purely for aesthetics, so I'm hoping to get some feedback/tips from someone who already did it, successfully. What tool did you use to remove the heatspreaders? (btw, i have a heat gun since I do plan to heat it up a bit before trying to remove the heat spreaders) Thanks!
