I'm building a PC for my friend. He wants something where he can edit video, use photoshop, do effects, etc. at a high level. Should I recommend a GPU to him? I'm putting a 4770k in the build, and I want to keep prices around $1000. Any suggestions?
My friend asked me to build a PC for ~$1k USD focused mostly on video editing, Photoshop, music production, etc. He's not a very big gamer, so I'm not sure what parts to recommend him. Any and all help will be more than appreciated.
Well he told me it can be around 1200 USD give or take. So I was wondering if that's too little to even starts. I'm assuming a no on any peripherals except for Windows 8.
So a friend of mine is editing high quality video and wants to start editing 4K footage. I want to keep costs as low as possible, any idea at what budget we're looking at and what we need? Not including the monitor, and no gaming. Just for video editing. Thanks!
Last year I was fine with games like cryis 3/ BF4. I'm usually fine with running games on medium/high with 2xAA. Anything higher than that and I can't really notice anything unless I really look, and usually it's nothing more than a pixel or two. I'm rocking two very well OC'd 780s, was thinking of waiting for GTX 1xxx's instead of now, but you guys think I still have a year left in them?
Yo. I've got a rampage IV extreme at the moment. Today while rendering something, I got a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT blue screen. Said that I should consider updating my bios, but the last thing I want to do is corrupt my bios at this point in time. Would it make anything faster?
