Ive just updated to windows 10 and now it's showing 8 logical cores and better performance in my games!

Clean USB install but it has windows.old so assuming it still has old OS so idk

I've always had this CPU since i first bought this PC from cyberpower i just never really checked until now since my preformance in games is bad now and i Have a 1060 6GB SSC. The last time i changed OS was a couple months ago from Windows 10 to Windows 8 I just couldn't stand windows 10

I checked through msinfo32 and it showed this

My AMD FX 8320 shows 6 logical process when i check Is this normal since i've looked around and its a 8 core CPU and people said it should show 8 logical cores or am i miss understanding?

yea but still what about GTA V and H1z1 i dont no anywhere near same fps as these guys on ""LOW"

in H1Z1 my cpu gets to 100(sometimes) but mostly around 30-70% while playing

Hello , I have a GTX 1060 6GB and AMD FX 8320 3.5Ghz now i play basic games llike csgo and h1z1 and GTA V but when playing i get some random lag spikes and i cant even stream it on (i play on low settings on every game i play ) and i barely get to enjoy playing. But when i see people with same specs and doing videos on this combo They can play 1080p MAX on some games like GTA V and such but i barely get over 60 and i play on low. I've updated all my drivers and windows is up to date and can't seem to figure out whats the issue does anyone know what I could do to fix my performance? ps: My CPU or GPU inst over heating I've monitored them while playing for hours. Thanks in advance!

My CPU gets to 50% ish while in GTA V and my temps dont go over 65 & i have my CPU OC'd to 4hz my power supply is EVGA 500 Watt ( https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-WHITE-Power-Supply-100-W1-0500-KR/dp/B00H33SFJU ) CPU: AMD FX-8320 GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SSC Mobo: GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P Ram: I dont know the brand but its 8 GB (sorry) (this was a prebuilt from cyberpower before i made upgrades to this one) Cooler:: Cooler master 212 Evo

I used AMD's drivers uninstaller to wipe all the drivers off & I dont know what to do to fix it i looked at my nividia settings people told me to disable shadow play & Nividias game optimization

hey i just got my 1060 and before i got it i've seen reviews that its a good card & reviews with same CPU as me (AMD FX-8320) they get over 100FPS in most games on high like GTA V and others and when i put mine on it i barely get 30 so I lower to the lowest settings possible and i barely get 60 still I'm new to Nividia (used to use AMD) I have all my drivers up to date is there anything i need todo the in the GPU controll panel or something my CPU is clocked to 3.8GHz atm Thanks in advance

**UPDATE** I got my GTX 1060 6GB earlier today pc running smoothly again but i looked up reviews on AMD fx 8320 with TX 1060 6GB with people getting 100fps in GTA V on high but when i load in on GTA V on low i barely get 60? any settings i need to change on GPU its an SCC or something that comes overcloked from factory
