  1. Try this in cmd: ping -t 8.8.8.8. Does the "time:" variable spike? If not, I use http://startrinity.com/ for my long term speed tests.
  2. Sounds like you have a dead motherboard, you have isolated all the other variables.
  3. Had very similar issues with my old rig. It was the PSU. If you have a computer repair shop near you (and its open), you can usually ask for them to put a working psu in for testing. The shop I went to diden't even charge me but YMMV.
  4. Maybe try the networking forums, not an expert but this seems specific enough to go there: https://linustechtips.com/forum/45-networking/
  5. Have you read the pinned "README: How to respond to a no POST or no power up situation" thread?
  6. Hi, I recently purchased an M.2 SSD and now that I have installed it, one of my HDD's has disappeared from the BIOS and Windows. Did I hit a storage device limit or something? Specs: Windows 10 1903 Motherboard: GA-AB350-GAMING 3 CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X Graphics: VEGA 64 Storage: Samsung 860 Evo SATA SSD Samsung 860 Pro SATA SSD WD Blue M.2 2280 SSD 2 WD Blue 1TB 7500 RPM HDD and 1 Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD I have restarted the machine, re-pluged in the SATA cable etc... Thank you
  7. for 900-1000$ you can get a completely new PC (a good one too). Sell the old parts and get a bit more cash, then look at some builds around the amount you have.
  8. Here are a couple of things: Try a clean windows install. Open the sucker up and spray it with canned air. A couple of people say that a SSD could help... I guess you could try that. You could also install a some what light weight Linux distro.
  9. IDK know if it can technically support it but realistically; no, that card cannot support 5 1080p monitors.
  10. Yes. Interactive media is interactive media. No matter the scale.
  11. "Should I open a piece of unknown software?" Short answer: No. Long answer: Never.
  12. Could be interesting. But its seems like another company getting in on the VR hype (late BTW) and they plan on just abandoning the product after a couple months.
  13. Windows 10 upgrade was a mess. It was done way too aggressively and it did not fucking work! Once upgraded windows was its usual buggy mess at the start and the upgrade was not a clean upgrade. Your right microsoftwhere in the right direction.
  14. Solar in general seems not to be the near practical future. Or is that just me
