  1. Dear good fellows, so a while back JayZTwoCents released a video on the MSI gaming M7. He especially liked the game boost technology with different boost settings and so did I. But the M7 is 250€ and includes a lot of features that just seem useless. The Pro Carbon also has game boost, but the picture on the MSI website shows a simple on/off button not the level system that the M7 has. Does anybody know what the difference is or what other boards have game boost with different levels? Thank You in advance, Vice
  2. really only cares about rust

  3. The last scrapyard wars are a while back now and i think it s more than fair to say that most of us really enjoy that series. Personally I think the logical step now would be to extend SYW to a threeway now. I was thinking Linus+Luke vs. Jay+Nick vs. Bitwit (Kyle)+Paul, although we obviously don t know if this is at all possible. As a theme I d really like to see something new like extreme overclocking (hood nitrogen cooling or something like that) and maybe a slightly higher budget. What are your ideas? Do you even want another SYW?
  4. really not looking to delid a brand new 350€ CPU xP
  5. The swifttech and predator both introduce the issue of draining the system to this equation though... I have the h115i in because it s cheaper and smaller But jayztwocents always says go for the biggest rad possible and the kraken is only 280 while i could go for 360...
  6. for twenty euros more I could get a 360 rad though and pretty, as said, isn t the problem...
  7. Was thinking about it, but I d be paying around 90€ and at that point i can pretty much just get a Corsair H115i and at that point I m back to AIOs... The only reason I was really looking at the be quiet was because it would ve gone with the case (stupid I know)
  8. Hello my fellow enthusiasts, so I m planning on building a new pc (yes I ll wait for ryzen first so the price of the i7 will drop) with the following specs: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (€363.33 @ Mindfactory) Motherboard: MSI Z270 GAMING M7 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (€259.99 @ Amazon Deutschland) Memory: Kingston FURY 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (€222.94 @ Mindfactory) Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 8GB AMP! Extreme Video Card (€639.99 @ Amazon Deutschland) Case: be quiet! Dark Base 900 (Black/Silver) ATX Full Tower Case (€167.93 @ Mindfactory) Power Supply: Corsair 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (€133.84 @ Mindfactory) Monitor: BenQ GL2450HM 24.0" 1920x1080 60Hz Monitor (€139.00 @ Amazon Deutschland) Monitor: BenQ GL2450HM 24.0" 1920x1080 60Hz Monitor (€139.00 @ Amazon Deutschland) Mouse: Zowie EC1-A Wired Optical Mouse (€65.00) Now my question is how should i cool the CPU? I plan on overclocking to 5 ghz (would be stupid not to looking at the other specs). I have pretty much narrowed it down to three options: -Deepcool Captain 360 @ 176€ -Corsair H115i @ 133€ -Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing @ 175€ So my thoughts coming to these are: Corsair: +reliable (only producer I have previous experience with and I generally hear a lot about) +recommended by MSI as a component to go with the motherboard (tbh I don t see much of a benefit here as it really shouldn t make a difference) -it s "only" a 280 rad Deepcool: +360 rad +mostly good reviews Thermaltake: +360 rad +mostly good reviews -the rgb really would be a waste as the case is windowsless (yes I know that there is one with windows but I d prefer this build to be more quiet I know what it looks like anyway) I haven t made the price a point as let s be honest at the cost of this system I don t care about 50 € more or less for the CPU cooler. I m currently swaying towards the Deepcool, but I m really torn between it and the Corsair. What would you guys recommend? What s your previous experience? Would you maybe even recommend Air cooling instead of an AIO (I was looking at the be quiet Dark Rock Pro but I have to agree with Linus` review on it... Thank you for your help in advance Vice
