I'm building it for the friend of mine, mainly for Video editing work in DaVinci Resolve studio. I wanna someone to double check if it's allright.

If any of you can find CPU, GPU Benchmark for DaVinci Resolve studio specifically, especially featuring relative CPU and GPU i'll also be glad.

I only found https://www.pugetsystems.com/solutions/video-editing-workstations/davinci-resolve/hardware-recommendations/  with RTX 4070 ti featured in the build, but some more data would be nice.

Don't feel discouraged by the language, curency or shop links. I'm looking for somone who used DaVinci resolve studio or/and have at least some knowledge of how different component specs affect performance.

    Hello guys,

I've recentlly joined Nvidia forum, today i've clicked feed section to  check out what is proposed to me by Nvidia and found some weird sh*p to say the least ....

There are hips of posts/ads(that's what they effectively are) about medicines, weed, and other drugs which you can buy online without prescription ...aside of drug usage problem, especially without any professional supervision and advice,  is this a right place to post that?

And if not, why is it allowed on a forum, which moderate usser avatars (they must be aproved before hand) in fear they would end up being "offensive" to someone ?

If anyone can use some kind of algoritm to filter those things out it's nvidia ... so? Why?  What's going on ?
I'd genuinely like to hear someone comment or opinion.

It's spam. Every forum or website that allows user generated content has to deal with posts such as those. If there's a report option then you should report those posts.

If Nvidia is reading this and needs someone to keep their forum clean from spam, I am available. Will work for RTX 3090's, or I'm fine with cash if you don't have any available stock. Have your people call my people.

    Hello there.

I've found some data security issue in my workplace and I would like to hear/read someone's opinion about it. It may seem insignificant, but when you realize possible consequences you just can't simply ignore that.

Thing is that every employee has an account that is supposed to serve to every HR related matter like informing about your absence, checking schedules, tracking your hours etc.
This account holds multiple personal information such as employee surname, phone number, e-mail,  address, id number, etc.

After a successful logout one can access account which was logged in to from given device, by simply going backward in a browser.
I just ran into it by accident, and you can imagine my facepalm when I found out about it.

The reason why is that serious IMO is that we have several common-use desktops which are frequently used to login to such account.
We have like thousands of employees and it's only one facility from dozens around a world. That means potential unwanted access to personal data of thousands of people.

I'm just a regular employee, therefore I have no real impact on our company, I just send a ticket to tech support thou is not likely that they will react to it in any significant way.
Also, I will talk to GM tomorrow, maybe he will suggest employees not to use those desktops (for that purpose anyway).

So, if anyone can say: how is that f***ing possible (from a technical standpoint) I would appreciate such a feedback. Is that due to how the site is handling postdata or what?

It gets a little worse than that in some cases, but I don't want to give much more details until I'll get an official response from both GM and tech support.

I could not see it posted anywhere on the forum so i think i'll write thing or two about that.
Yesterday (17.10.17r.) ZTE announced their new smartphone - Axon M which might just be one of the most interesting relase this year. ZTE completly changed their approach to designing smartphones and made an unusual Axon M which is a foldable phone with two 5.2-inch 1080p displays. It can be used in 4 diferent modes: Dual mode, Extended mode, Mirror mode, Traditional mode.

In Dual mode each screen can be used idependetlly:

In Extended mode they are used as one big 2160p display:

In Mirror mode both screens are displaing the same content:

And ofcourse Traditional mode name speaks for it self.

Axon M features: Quad-core Qualcom Snapdragon 821 runing at 2.15 Ghz, 4 GB of Ram, 64 GB of storage expandable via Micro SD card up to 256 GB, 3180 mAh battery, 20  MP camera capeable of 4k 30 hz.
Phone is running on Adroid 7.1.2 (Nugat)
    In the matter of conectivity : USB type C, Bluetooth 4.2, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz/ 5 GHz
And it has 3,5 mm audio jack which is in fact also unusual feature these days...

Most common concern which i noticed pretty much across all articles is about its limited battery size.

Acording to ZTE the phone will be released in the next mounth in USA and it will be AT&T exclusive at launch. It will launch in Japan, China and Europe latter on.
