  1. Yeah the static pressure fans would perform better, but I don't really want to buy any more fans!
  2. A few months ago, I bought some Noctua NF-S12 fans with no intention of water cooling in the future. I also had a different case then, which is why I bought 120mm fans. The Noctuas are super quiet, which is very important to me because I use my computer primarily for music production. But, my CPU temps have getting uncomfortably high with the stock fan on my 6700, so I ordered a H100i v2. I'm also moving to a new setup where my PC is going to be on my desk, and I want it to look nice. Therefore I opted for a bit of an overkill option. I understand that I can achieve the best performance with static pressure fans on my radiator, and these Noctua fans are definitely airflow optimized. The fans were pretty expensive, though! Should I ditch them in favor or the included static pressure fans? Does anyone have any experience with how loud the included fans are?
  3. Which one the enthoo evolv or the s340 elite?
  4. The balanced cables removed almost all of the hum. It is not noticeable unless I really listen and put my ear up against the cone. Thanks for the help!
  5. When I first built my PC, I wasn't too worried about the case. As long as it has decent airflow, it's fine, right? This turned out not to be the case (no pun intended) for me. I bought a Corsair Carbide 200r, and I'm not very happy with it. It isn't very aesthetically pleasing, lacks cooling options, and cable management is difficult. And I'm moving to a new setup where the PC will be on the desk fairly soon, so I would like it to look nice. I plan to install a 240mm radiator in the front of whichever case. I've been doing some research and the cases that stick out to me are the two mentioned in the title. The Enthoo Evolv in my opinion looks a lot better, but it is quite a bit more expensive than the S340. Is one more superior than the other in any main ways that I'm missing? Cooling? Cable management? What's the general consensus of the LinusTechTips community? Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks for the reply! I ordered some balanced cables, hopefully I won't have to pick up an isolation transformer.
  7. Thank you! I'm gonna see if some balanced 1/4 inch cables helps at all before looking into one of these kinds of things
  8. Thanks! Everything is connected to the same power strip, and all have the 3 pin plug, and the sounds persist I am definitely going to order some balanced cables, hopefully that helps
  9. Thank you to everyone who has replied. You all have been of great help!
  10. I'm using my Focusrite for output, never onboard
