  1. Hello esteemed PC enthusiasts, It's been a while since I last participated in this forum, and I'm excited to reconnect with this knowledgeable community. I'm reaching out for some expert advice on the best approach to selling my gaming PC/workstation. Recently, I transitioned to an M3 Pro MacBook, and the performance leap has been remarkable, particularly for my professional needs as an audio engineer. I primarily work with Pro Tools and DSP software, and the MacBook has been outperforming my custom-built PC by a significant margin in these applications. Given this change, I'm considering selling my custom PC. I'm seeking guidance on whether it would be more worth to sell the system as a whole or to part it out and sell the components individually. Additionally, I aim to set a fair price for the build, ensuring a good deal for both myself and the buyer. Could anyone provide a reasonable price range for a system like mine? I appreciate your insights and thank you in advance for your assistance! Here's my build: Ryzen 9 3900X Asus ROG Strix X570-I Gaming Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB Western Digital Black SN750 1TB M.2 SSD Crucial MX300 275GB SSD Western Digital Blue 4TB, 5400RPM HDD Gigabyte GTX 980Ti NZXT H210i NZXT Kraken X53 Corsair CX650M Windows 11 Pro
  2. I’ve tried, the width of the 5 pins on the connector is the width of 4 sockets on the cable. it just doesn’t work
  3. I have an ROG Strix X570-I motherboard and an NZXT H210i. The front panel audio connector on the case seems to be bigger than the connector on the motherboard. Not sure what to do.
  4. Antec Truepower 650W. There's plenty of power.
  5. I recently upgraded from an HD 7970 to a 980Ti and I am running a triple monitor setup. I am using a displayport to DVI-D adapter, an HDMI to DVI-D adapter, an a DVI-D cable. The monitor that is giving me a problem is the one using a DVI-D cable, it's not using any adapter. Whenever I plug in the monitor is does not get a signal and goes into sleep mode. Can you help?
  6. The cheapest one is $859 and it has a hard drive..
  7. I'm looking for a laptop under $800. I would need something with the SSD because the hard drives most company use in the their budget laptops are 5400rpm. Right now I still think that the Lenvo Ideapad is the best bet. It's $680. It was a 6300HQ, 950M, 12GB RAM, and 256 M.2. SSD. If there is anything else the is sensible please let me know.
  8. I so I'm spending $120 more to get a GTX 1050. But is the price-to-performance any higher? It's just an upgrade from a last gen GTX 950M to a 1050. I'm not convinced yet that getting a GTX 1050 laptop is a good idea. I'm also only getting 8GB or RAM where this one has 12GB. And the ideapad 700 has a 256gb ssd where the gtx 1050 laptops have 128gb ssd. Also, can you send me some links of the laptops?
  9. Yes, my laptop now is an Acer and the build quality is horrible. I was on CPUBoss and it said the 6300HQ is about the same performance as a 7700U. Plus he quad core has HyperThreading, so that's even more power.
  10. So, i am looking for the best price to performance laptop, so far i have found the Lenovo Idepad 700. Is there anything better i can get for the price?https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FJFN872/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_s59KybTRK2JD9
  11. I want to get a 5GHz network card, but there are so many options. These are the two that I am looking at, the ebay one is cheaper though, will I notice a performance difference? (More expensive) https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Wireless-Express-Adapter-TL-WDN4800/dp/B007GMPZ0A/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1482957649&sr=8-19-spons&keywords=mini%2Bpcie%2Bto%2Bpcie&th=1 (Cheaper) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-Wifi-150M-Bluetooth-4-0-PCI-E-Adapter-Card-Dual-Band-2-4G-5G-2-Antennas-/142146419285?hash=item2118963a55:g:VHoAAOSwA3dYGAtz
