  1. Exactly, as someone who works in I.T. I totally agree. I'm glad I don't work at a school or other public sector. I can imagine somebody using this and causing tons of damage.
  2. I've never even heard of any of these, but I'm personally going the route of building my own drone.
  3. I think what people forget is CIG has pretty much achieved the graphical side of things, it's the networking and AI which had a lot of work to do still. Amazon will help with the networking side of things with their massive infrastructure.
  4. I'd be happy with 1080P as that is a big enough jump for me and I still haven't upgraded to 4K at my house.
  5. Do you love Minecraft and have an Old PC laying around? Turn it into something useful by making a Minecraft Server. Check out my video on this:

  6. I much prefer PLA. ABS puts off a smell and I print in my small home man-cave/office. I'm normally doing something while printing so I always print in PLA. Also, IMO PLA is easier to print with.
  7. That makes sense. Although I could see large companies benchmarking their gear against competitors.
  8. Do you test a lot of Ubiquiti gear? I use their products at work for the most part. If you do transfer it would be cool to pick your brain after doing it for a while.
  9. Sounds cool, are you involved in the research of finding devices vulnerable to all the recent botnets?
  10. Star Marine is a tactical FPS mini-game. Think something along the line of Call of Duty matches, with different types of modes and maps. Just a taste of what the full open game will have, but with no danger to your "real" character. The single player game is a separate game now and is called Squadron 42.
  11. In addition to hackathons there are also Makerfaires pretty much all around the U.S. and even international too. Not strictly tech and some are much better than others but you are likey to see some 3D Printing, Robotics, Drones and Arduino type projects.
