Aahh, don't you love finding out at 3 in the morning that your CPU's Cache is essentially a giant paperweight? Man, I miss my 64-Bit Hackintosh/Windows 10/Ubuntu Xenial Dell Inspiron 3542... now I am stuck with Dell StudioXPS 1340 with 32-Bit XenialPup. So Confusing....

Doing schoolwork and Linus takes over... WOW. Also, Linus, I feel bad for you. You're too short!
  6. Yea tried different RAM, apparently these laptops hate switching sticks. I believe it isn't RAM, so I think the MOBO is glitchy or dead, or the BIOS is screwed.
  7. I found out it isn't the OS or Boot SSD. It's actually either RAM or the MoBo.
  8. Zorin OS A Linux Distro built off Ubuntu.
  9. Dear Linus Community, I am running a different OS on my laptop, a Lenovo Thinkpad W500* and the little Google Notifications will glitch whenever the start screen opens, making them unclosible. I found out over a year ago, restarting the PC will make them disappear, but whenever I restarted my laptop this time, It froze in the POST screen, and I have tried EVERYTHING to diagnose it. It's not the SSD, RAM, Battery, or Keyboard Stuck Keys. I also noticed while stuck on the POST screen, the CPU gets VERY hot, I believe to the high 80C to the low 100C. Does ANYBODY know why it's doing this??? Thank you! -Brigan Mayer * Laptop Specs Intel Core 2 Duo 4 Gigs DDR3 480GB SSD

  16. After doing a WHOLE lot of searching, I have gotten the basics of the InsertGroupMedia set up. Is there ANY equipment (Computers, Cameras, Lights, Microphones, Software, Etc.) that people would sell for a reasonable price? @nicklmg@Slick@LinusTech Sorry if this seems like spam, but we really need this! We're counting on this, but we don't have much money to spare. Thank you! InsertNameHere42, InsertGroupMedia Creator

@nicklmg, If there's anyway I could get a ticket and be there, What time would this be happening? Also, will you cover the event in a video if I cannot pay? Thanks. (by the way, I created an 8K background for that monitor if you're interested. Please message me if you would like to see it.)
