I remember one of the first FPS games I played on PC way back when, Command and Conquer: Renegade, Man i spent a lot of time on that game. I played a ton of Battlefield 1942 and Call of Duty 1 back then too. I'd have to have been in 5th or 6th grade then, my family was poor growing up so i didn't get a chance to play any Nintendo or sega games like most of the other people my age. I didn't get to game till my family got a decent PC.

I was under the impression that the mobo would just run that ram at its stock supported frequency instead,(provided its a QVL product) so 2133mhz instead of 3200mhz? and a switch to z170 chipset would be required to run it at any higher frequency? (since i dont think OC is supported on that chipset) Am I misinformed?

I agree, this seems like the route i'd take. It has the added benefit of possibly even building up a fan base of weirdos who like to watch your dog kick it. maybe even make some ad revenue!

hey guys, this is my "new here post" I've realized that there is a huge forum sized hole in my heart since my last community died out so here i am. you''ll all help to distract me from doing actual work while on the job AND help me to decide how to spend all my money. Doesn't that sound like fun?
