  1. That is what I'm currently using, and what I'll stay with if no other option is presented. But I prefer not having the parallel thumbsticks as I find them really uncomfortable. I also enjoy having additional buttons on the back on the controller, such as what the Razer and nacon controllers provide.
  2. Hi All, I'm in the market for a gaming controller that supports both PS4 and PC. So far I've used two Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro Controllers, both had the left analog stick break through general use (maybe I have a strong thumb?). Their warranty service was abysmal, and the store I originally purchased from just ended up refunding me since they couldn't get the supplier to reply to them. This is a shame, because the controller is actually perfect for me. I also tried a Razer Raiju Ultimate, but it was DOA. At this point, I'm sick of repetitively trying different controllers only for them to break. My requirements are as follows: Support for wireless connection to PS4 and PC, Low wireless latency (since I play online the majority of the time with it), Optional: Xbox style thumbstick layout (not the parallel dualshock style), Available in Australia as a lot of controllers are really hard to find here. I have no budget, I will pay whatever it takes to get a controller that works...If anyone can recommend anything, that would be great!
  3. I've switched around some of the connections to the PSU over to unused ports, it seems to have stopped now...still not comfortable about it though. Will update if there is any change. Still curious as to what the issue is / was though. EDIT: nvm, started right back up a few minutes later
  4. Hello all, I have a Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 1050w PSU, which has been running with no issues for a good year or so. Yesterday it started making a weird ticking noise, it does this whenever my pc is powered on. I have confirmed that it is not any of my case fans, and it is not the PSU fan (makes the noise even when it's not spinning). I've attached a recording I made of the noise. Anyone have any idea what it is? I'm going to contact thermaltake too, see if it's an issue they're aware of. Thanks! 20191029_153220.amr
  5. If he said he wanted everyone to have a great day does that mean we all have to be miserable just because we don't want to do what he says...
  6. Source: https://www.9news.com.au/2019/03/19/16/47/telcos-block-access-to-4chan-liveleak As someone living in Australia I'm truly worried about a number of sites if Telcos can just decide to censor an them because it hosts something they don't like -- never liked the idea of some company deciding what I'm allowed to watch online. What I find even more interesting (and unsurprising) is the fact that the platform used to spread the video the most has been left untouched (Facebook...) Wouldn't want to lose customers while we're busy virtue signalling would we.
  7. I'm looking to purchase a pair of IEM's, I've done a fair bit of research and the Shure SE425's meet every one of my needs, and just seem all round perfect. But basically every review says that have stunningly low bass...which is disappointing, as I listen to EDM pretty frequently and enjoy a good amount of bass. My questions to owners of this IEM: Just how low is the bass? Is it something I won't be able to get over even after 30 hours of getting used to them? Can it be fixed by using an equaliser? I feel the best way for me to answer these questions is to just try them out, but it's likely I won't receive an opportunity to do this. Thanks!
  8. Why the /s, this is stunningly accurate, just add 1x YouTube for music and multiply that Stackoverflow count by 4.
  9. I'm at work, with 23 currently...programming does that.
  10. I used one to remove duplicate image files once, pretty sure I still have it on my PC at home, I'll take a look tonight and see if it does sound files too. If not, I can probably just write a script that will do it for you.
  11. As per Linus' video, it's especially handy for game drives. This is the configuration I run Optane in, I have a 6TB HDD for my games, and it's accelerated by Optane, that way the games I play super frequently get SSD like performance, but I still have HDD like storage for larger games.
  12. Yup, over ear & open back. And yes, plenty of places here carry both of those.
  13. Hello, I need a new pair of headphones, my budget is around $400-$500. I will be using them for general purpose computer use + music (mainly EDM) + gaming. I currently use S1000DB speakers, but need a pair headphones for when I can't be too distracting (i.e. when everyone is asleep). Does anyone have any recommendations? If it helps I'm located in Australia, I would like to be able to buy these from a store within Australia. Thanks.
  14. It can cost either depending on the quantity....
  15. Was definitely on purpose, no way he accidentally picked up and displayed to the camera a conveniently placed RTX Titan box twice within in a few minutes.
  16. For those interested, it's at 34:06 in the stream: Also at 30:34: Definitely looks like it was on purpose to me...
  17. It's a joke, don't worry. Pressing SHIFT 5 times on Windows produces an annoying ass dialogue that asks if you want to turn on sticky keys.
  18. Been listening to music through YouTube for the last few hours, haven't had any interruptions, so must've been down for less than the average song length....
  19. Was that home broadband connection with or without the NBN?
  20. NordVPN recently had a deal (pretty sure it's ended now) where you could get a 3 year plan for $99USD, snagged that and been using it on all my devices since. No complaints so far, would highly recommend it. They have a no logs policy too, so it would suit your use case.
  21. I would definitely recommend the G903, I upgraded to it from the G502 only about a month or two ago, easy to switch between wired / wireless mode, battery lasts pretty long (I just charge it over night every few days), and of course; free scrolling.
