Hello! My monitor flickers while watching videos or playing games, only while FreeSync is active at a high refresh rate. While FreeSync is active when I have my refresh rate set to 120+, my screen starts to flicker. However, when I disable FreeSync or lower down my refresh rate, it works perfectly. Is there something I could do to fix this? I've tried multiple DP cables, so it's not the cable at fault. I also doubt it would be the GPU, as I've used each port of it and they don't make any difference. The monitor that I am using is this one here. DP is this one here. Thanks for any responses!

I only have one displayport cable. However, with my HDMI and 144hz, it is working properly. Does that mean it's the cable at fault? Or would I need another displayport to be sure?

Hello! Whenever I set my refresh rate to 144hz or even 120hz, it would flicker while watching videos or playing games. It's not too bad, but it's noticeable and quite annoying to deal with. Whenever I set the refresh rate down to 60hz however, it disappears completely. I'm not sure what may be causing this? Is there any way that I could stop the flickering? Thanks for any advice!

Hello! I was planning to purchase this DisplayPort Cable. However, are all DisplayPort Cables able to display in 144hz? I'm looking to use this with my monitor in order to enable FreeSync, so I was wondering if this specific DisplayPort can allow me to run FreeSync at 144hz. I've not heard of DisplayPort, and I can't find any information relating to 144hz for the DisplayPort. Thanks for any responses!

Hello! I just got myself an RX 580 8GB Red Dragon V2, and it states that it is compatible with freesync. However, I have both a free sync monitor and the graphics card, yet it states in my Radeon settings that it is not compatible? Is it not compatible after all? Or is it the HDMI that's at fault or something? Thanks for any replies!

My monitor only has free-sync. That's making me wonder if I should sell my 1060 and buy a 580 or something.

Oh, umm, apparently I was wrong. It hasn't changed, and I missed it somehow Maybe it is the GPU at fault? That's what I'm thinking. I've tried it on this video, and this video, and this one. All with the same result of tearing. I'm not sure what it could be then
