  1. Alrighty. Thanks for the direction, I'll try these out
  2. Yes, phones, printer, and cameras on wifi and possibly TV and audio reciever on wired if they are still connected while "off".
  3. Connection to all devices in wired and wifi lose internet connection at the same time. Connection to router is maintained but loses internet connection. We do have neighbors, however wifi is secure with passwords and they are not close enough to get a signal.
  4. My isp is spectrum on the rural side with drop down. Modem cm600 router gt-acs300. We are heavy users with several devices using internet at once. With a mix of wifi and wired connections I'm getting random disconnects, several times a day or none at all. The closest thing I can find that seems to match what my problem, is my upload signal is weak so my modem freaks out and resets when it looses outbound communications with isp. I upgraded my hardware and seemed to make a little difference but still having issues. Now not sure if modem resets do to it being much faster than my old surfboard. Is there signal boosters that can work for this? Or what would be a better path to troubleshoot this issue?
  5. I have an Asus zepherus gx501. Windows 10 64 , 500g ssd. Along with the Asus software, it has chrome, gforce experience, steam with two games Sekiro and Monster Hunter World. Yet little over 400gigs are used up. I was able to free up around 30gigs with the security tools for freeing up space. However, I can't find what's taking up all that space through poking around folders. I'm almost never online with it except to get updates and Iv only had this laptop for a couple weeks. it's only used to game on. Thanks

Looking for a solid value on a gaming laptop. I play Souls/borne Monster Hunter type action rpgs.
  7. Wanting to stay away from laptops if I can help it. My concerns with laptops is small screens and over heating issues. I won't always have an ideal temperature in the truck when I want to play and will sometimes have an opportunity for a long session. Looked up satellite internet before. Doesn't seem worth it or it was cost prohibited for good speeds
  8. I'm currently getting started in the trucking business. I'm looking for general tips and advise for a gaming set up in a semi truck. There will be lots of movement and vibration and a large coverage area to consider. Some specific ?'s What would be a good phone and service provider for using a phone as a hotspot for gaming? Would it ever be viable for online gaming? Any viable options? What method of build or storage would work best to reduce the damage from constant and heavy vibration, bumps, etc? Probably won't be to concerned about space or cost to an extent, I could find a way to make it work. Wanting a solid and reliable set up and solutions for my situation. Thanks
  9. Thanks, I must have just misunderstood the specs when a listing for refresh rates would be stated as 50-144 Hz
  10. I was assuming this may cause undesirable effects, so there is no issues with running 30fps on a 144Hz display? I guess I was just misunderstanding the specs. Thank you
  11. Shopping for a new monitor wanting to experience gaming above 60fps when I get a new rig. I do still play games on my cosole such as Bloodborne that only runs in 30fps. While I was doing my research I notice most 144 displays won't support any thing less than 50fps. Is there any decent 144 displays that can support 30fps games on the console? Thank you
  12. Need a recommendation for modem and a router no more than a sum of $200. My ISP is time warner in the states, plan speeds are 300 down and 10 up. Main focus is for gaming, and I do have multiple devices hooked up to wifi in the household. I play fighting games, souls/borne PvP, and shooters. Or can I not go wrong understanding what I need and shopping by price? Thank you.
