I agree. Hopefully the new Radeon Crimson driver will bring a bit of a boost in performance.

You're better off buying the 390. Your CPU right now is good enough for modern gaming and jumping to the Intel ship for a minor increase in FPS doesn't justify the price. You'll get a better increase in FPS with the 390 that's much better than the 970 is.

I've been super hyped about Fallout 4 since i played 3 way back when. 3 wasn't that great, but it was open world and you could design your own character. That was enough back then.
I found the old Witcher games basically unplayable. Witcher 1 had some messed up controls and Witcher 2 just wasn't casual-friendly. Didn't know where to go or what to do to move on.
 
When I bought my 980 i got a free voucher for Witcher 3. Didn't even bother installing for 2-3 months until i got bored and needed a new game. Blew.My.Mind. Open world AND pretty as hell with great animations and characters that had depth! I'm on my second replay and just finished Hearts of Stone DLC. Oh, and so many free DLC! 
 
My experience with Fallout 4 was pretty much the opposite. I couldn't wait to see what major improvements 7 years (Fallout 3 2008) would make. Totally disappointed. Fallout 4 feels pretty much exactly like Fallout 3 to me. Even the weird jumping animations are still present. 
Dialog is awkward, animations are awkward, movement is awkward and feels so much like like the 7 year old game that I'm having a hard time telling if its just a graphical improvement or not. And the graphical improvement isn't even worth mentioning. (Don't bother saying graphics doesn't matter. It does and that's why it's one of the aspects always discussed when talking about a game.)
All of that aside the damn game won't even run properly on this beast of a computer I've paid and built - simply because i have a 21:9 screen. Bethesda hasn't picked up on the fact that 21:9 has been marketed towards gamers for years. I get to decide between window mode 16:9, or edit some ini and get a skewed hud with the crosshair about an inch to the right so I can't even aim.
 
TL;DR: Fallout 4 feels like a previous-gen game made by previous-gen developers, but hey, at least they've got great sales numbers riding on the hype of their old games. Refund pls.

I had high hopes for Fallout 4. But, ever since the screenshot leaks I've been disappointed. And it got worse. Bad dialogue, copy&paste animations from previous games from what I've heard people saying. All I've heard is that improved the combat feature or the shooting mechanics. But that's pretty much it. It looks rushed. Some claim it's been in the works since 4 years but I personally don't see it.

Witcher 3 on the other hand, it's probably #1 on my favorite games list. I never put so much hours into a game like I did with Witcher 3. And kudos to the CDprojektred for the free DLC's. The main storyline writing is great, hell; even the side quests stories are great in terms of writing the Bloody Baron being a good example. That doesn't mean it's perfect in my eyes, it does have some things I don't like for example I don't like the final fight with the King of the Wild Hunt, I expected more of a challenge. Some enemies scale horribly. You either out level them or they'll out level you to the point of you being one shotted (Although in my eyes, it was quite fun, you have the potential of getting through it with patience and strategy). Combat animations could use a bit more work but it's not as bad as some make it out to be in my eyes, in fact with alternate movement and the free DLC of adding new finisher animations enhance it. Here's hoping Blood & Wine shines just as much or more like Hearts of Stone did. Amazing DLC sized expansion. The story was great and so was the content.

Honestly, Fallout 4 had great potential. Bethesda just didn't seize the opportunity. It just looks rushed and was released to only make money off the fandom. I just kinda hate the circlejerk it's getting. But is it anywhere near the level the Witcher 3 is on? No. 

I'd go for The Witcher 3. I never got into Fallout 3, and Fallout 4 doesn't really appeal to me. Whereas Witcher 3's folklore based story line is much more appealing to me. 

I don't mind it.

What I do mind is the amount of assholes in the vegan community who feels like they're superior to everybody else.

I'm gonna have to agree with rtb5642. While AMD is cheaper the better option is going Intel. Right now AMD currently has nothing that can compete with Intel. The current gen i3's beats AMD's FX 8350 in single core performance. I'd honestly recommend getting a decent mobo an Intel dual core like the G3258 with a decent gpu to hold you over and pick up an i5 in the future. I hope AMD can get their act together next year and really give Intel & Nvidia some competition.
