  1. I'm curious about this. I know you can do some BIOS mods, and it should work, but I'm worried about power delivery and temperatures.
  2. So I was watching the October 27th WAN show, and heard Dan's mini rant on Canada carriers and VoLTE. I am also a big fan of Sony phones, however I live in the US where it mostly just works, unless you have an older (pre-2019) phone. Recently, I was able to hack T-Mobile VoLTE onto a Xperia XA2. This got me thinking about that WAN show episode, and after and doing a bit more research into how VoLTE works on Sony phones, I believe I should be able to get VoLTE working on at least one of the carriers. A MVNO would probably be better instead a carrier just in case they have weird activation policies or IMEI checking. Most MVNOs don't really care from what I see, at least in the US. I would like to get into contact with Dan about this. If that's not possible, I could post generic instructions here, but it would be faster and easier if I knew what device(s) and carrier(s) with a direct line of communication.
  3. Not sure if this is the best place to give feedback, but there is an idea that could help you (LTT) improve transparency. Some sort of stream or long form video that shows the configuration of a test machine for GPU/CPU benchmarking. Going through all the processes carried out from installing Windows to getting results.
  4. The G413 recommendation is garbage. I owned one and after a few years, multiple keys required me to either slam them down to get them to work and/or they double, triple, or even quadruple press. Also the RomerG stem is awful, keys love to pop out even if you attempt to glue them on, and parts of the stem (on the key cap side) like to break and get stuck inside the keyboard. Been using a HyperX Alloy Elite 2 for close to 2 years now, and aside from the software (which you can replace with OpenRGB anyways) it's been a great keyboard. Normal design so I can replace any keycap with any cheap set, the stem design also makes it so breaking a stem or key cap would be user error and not a design flaw. and if a key breaks I don't need to source some wack key switch to have the same cap fit.
  5. Pretty unrelated to the topic, but Nvidia's 474.30 driver is actually unsigned and I wonder if the driver modders can get it working with even basic EAC. I kinda don't care as it's just a "security" update and 472.12 is the last actual feature driver, but I am curious. Edit: Example found in the wild https://steamcommunity.com/app/252490/discussions/4/6063574513306751845/
  6. It's completely possible that Frank's O2 is fine and quality control is lacking enough to where Linus just got a bad one. Also on the topic of mice, I still use an ancient Logitech G700 because there's not any other mouse like it, aside from the G700s refresh, but that's still a decade old. I've been waiting for some sort of similar mouse for many years, but basically nothing has the 4 side button design. I don't care if it's the best, I just want a decent mouse that is similar in functionality but with a modern sensor.
  7. I would've liked to have seen a comparison to the headphones from the Cheap $25 Gaming Headset Round Up! video. Somehow it's 5 years old now so they might not even have those headphones anymore.
  8. I don't think many people use captions, but I think you really should get someone competent for the job. There are many mistakes in the captions on this video and many other LTT videos. For example, in this video HDMI 2.1 is apparently HTMI 2.1, and Klipsch is apparently Clip and Cliff at a different part.
  9. Would it be possible to modify the drivers of consumer GPU's, such as the GTX 970, to output 10-bit color or to take advantage of features that Quadro cards can use?
