  1. I'm going to buy one of these two TV's today as they are on sale. LG 55" B8 for $1,995 AUD Brand new! LG 55" C8 for $1,792 AUD Display model! Because my family watches more upscaled SD and HD content, as well as 576i and 1080i cable box broadcast, having the C8 with it's better processor would be preferred. However, the main issue that I have, is that the C8's on sale are display models so I'm worried about them having a shorter life span, or burn-in. What do you think I should get? (I was going to get a QLED, however these OLED sale prices are a huge drop!)
  2. Don't know what country you're in so don't know. Just compare it to what else you see on the market. Get the free 3Dmark software and run Firestrike. You can compare the score by searching "1070 Ti Firestrike"
  3. I've got a directory filled with files. Each file name has a description, and then the clients name. Example: "Brochure (John Smith).pdf" Let's say this directory has a couple hundred of these with different client names. I would like these to be automatically filtered, for example: If file name contains "John Smith" Move file to D:\Clients\Smith, John\ If the file name contains "Russel Coight" Move file to D:\Clients\Coight, Russel\ I can do this with an application called RoboBasket, but the problem is, I have to add every single rule manually, with each name and destination (per client). Is there an application that anyone knows of that can do this in bulk? A quick response would be much appreciated, thanks!
  4. I found a way! I downloaded SMS Backup+ as an APK from https://github.com/jberkel/sms-backup-plus/releases I installed it and am currently backing up!
  5. The files on the phone aren't a problem, they're already backed up. I can't find any options in the SMS app to backup, which is the default Google Messaging app. And SMS's haven't backed up to G Drive either.
  6. I'm trying to fix a Oneplus X as it has been having storage problems, they don't support SD card as internal storage, and it's only got about 12GB of internal, which is annoying. (This is a secondary issue) I want to factory reset the phone, but I need to retain SMS and phone call logs if possible. I know that there is a app for backing up these, But, the main issue is, I can no longer install any apps to the phone as the Google Play store app has gone rogue. It's not in the app drawer or the apps list in settings. FYI: Android 6.0.1 9.94GB used of 11.54GB And, it's also getting this error everywhere (See attached)
  7. Found it. For some reason it's under C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.SunriseBaseGame_1.187.929.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe Forza Horizon 4 = Sunrise Base Game? Weird. Though I can't add it to Steam
  8. I already had a look through there, and there are a couple folders of Horizon 4 DLC, but no main game folder?
  9. I've bought and installed Forza Horizon 4 from the Windows 10 app store, and I want to add the exe to Steam as a Non-Steam game. Can anyone find it?
  10. Well and actually I was going to use the server for some light gaming with a controller hooked up to my 100" projector. Definitively beats console gaming.
  11. Yeah, I wasn't going to put a GPU in it, but I didn't realize that Ryzen requires a GPU to get a video output, and besides, I had 3 780's lying around...
  12. *Off the top of my head* My gaming rig, built in 2013, and then slowly updated over time. CPU: i7-4770k MOBO: ASUS Z87 RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance PSU: Hytec 950watt HDD: 3TB WD SSD: 250GB Samsung CASE: Corsair Carbide 500R GPU: GTX1080Ti And my overkill Plex server built in November last year. CPU: RYZEN 5 1500X MOBO: ASROCK AB350 RAM: Don't remember, probably 8GB Corsair something... PSU: SeaSonic 550watt from my gaming rig HDD: 1TB WD EHDD: 4TB WD SSD: M.2 250GB CASE: ThermalTake Core V1 GPU: Old GTX780 from my gaming rig
  13. Haha! Call me crazy, but I got most of them on my Plex server. I'll try that with the video editor, do you know if it re-encodes it?
  14. When I record TV shows on my PC I usually use FFmpeg to trim up my videos at the beginning and ends without re-encoding. The only problem is, it's very time consuming typing it all up in the CMD. (See my working below) F: (To navigate to my media drive) cd F:\Media\TV Shows\Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures\Season 03 ffmpeg -i "Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures S03E03.ts" -ss 00:01:15 -to 00:32:42 -c copy "Russell Coight's All Aussie Adventures S03E03 (Trimmed).mp4" Are there any similar alternatives? Or something like a Media Player Classic or VLC extension?
  15. For the record, it seems to have fixed itself now through app and Windows updates.
