    Hi,
A 980Ti is still a very good performing GPU. I believe that getting a 7700K or just a 7700 (if you don't think about OC) would result in a nice performance jump and I would definitely go for it if possible.

The CX750M will be fine. Make sure it's got gray sticker so you get the latest revision. But even the older one is decent enough to get my blessing.

Yup. Its got the gray sticker. I have tested the PC and it seems like only my old PSU died. Mobo seems fine as well as all of the other components.
    Thank you so much!

Have you tried using another TV or (even more preferable) a monitor?

You can get a 7700K for 315$ or, because of this MOBO, a 7700 for about 300$.
Mine gets to about 30~50% usage while playing PUBG (I think) but definitely not bottlenecking my GTX1080.

Meh whenever I see my windows got totally stuck on it I just reboot and it usually works fine.

The GT630 will give you shit performance even for this kind of games, from experience... Try getting something a little stronger.
8GB of RAM is the standard today so don't build the PC with 4 unless you really have to.
The SATA II HDD should be okay, though really slow compared to today's standards.

One last thing, with this Pentium, FPS in LOL while 'teamfighting' (and probably in other games) will go below 60 FPS even with a good GPU.

Just think about making someone run till they feel dizzy and want to vomit. Does that sound good to their health?

Ilan Yakov reacted to pyrojoe34 in How to control corsair h115i fans from bios?
The problem with doing this is that you can only control them by CPU temp not water temp. Liquid cooling should not be controlled by CPU temp since the fans are actually cooling the water, not the CPU. For example, if you put a load on your CPU then the CPU temp will go up instantly, which will increase the fan speeds unnecessarily since the water has not warmed up yet and increasing the fan speed won't cool the CPU any better. The same is true when you stop a load after extended use, the CPU temp will drop quickly which will make the fans slow down but the water in the loop will still be very warm and need the fans to keep cooling until the water temp drops back to idle temps.

You're much better off controlling the rad fans using the water temp (using the AIO fan controller) and setting a custom curve in LINK since then it will actually be controlled by the temperature that matters.

Obviously that's not possible with linux but you might be able to use a custom fan controller program which can read the water temp from the AIO via the USB connection and control the fans based on that rather than the CPU temp.

depends on what it is you're doing exactly and which games you're playing.... but largely speaking the i5+1050ti would yield higher settings/framerates across the widest selection of titles... and the SSD is a definite added advantage for windows 10 based systems.

I bet the 8700K will run hotter than the 1700.  It will be faster in MHZ yes, but the intel chips are HOT!  I'm a 7700k owner believe me.
