  1. Whoops I meant to post that, sorry. I've got a GTX 980 at the moment, not sure when I'll be upgrading, or if I'll be sticking with Nvidia...
  2. Hello! At the moment I have a BenQ XL2720Z, which is a 27" 1080p monitor at 144Hz. I was also using a basic monitor for a second display, but I don't have space for that anymore. So, because of the space restriction I'm on the hunt for a shiny new monitor. Basically I'm after something a little bit bigger, probably 31.5/32" as anything bigger will be too big. Due to only having the one display I'm looking to get something that is a higher resolution but also while not sacrificing the 144Hz refresh rate. EDIT: I've got a GTX 980 at the moment. I don't suppose anyone has any recommendations? I've been looking at the new Asus XG32V, but because it's so new I'm struggling to find any feedback about it... TLDR 1440p 144Hz 32" Decent-ish response time (if that even matters) Used for gaming (CS:GO, GTA 5, PUGB), TV/movies and report writing £750 budget (but closer to £500 preferred) Is the Asus XG32V any good? Thank you very much for any advice you may have!
  3. I'd love to do something like that, however I don't really have the space for it, and I would just end up placing the AP on top of the router, since I can't run Ethernets around the house. I was hoping for a single unit, sorry for not saying.
  4. Hello! I am currently using my ISP's provided router (Virgin Media Superhub 2). I have a 200Mbps connection, and I use WiFi for all of my devices, expect a lonely printer. I have decided I am wanting to replace the router with a third party one, so I can gain access to more customisation and other features, such as OpenVPN and the simple ability to change my DNS server... I'd be buying it from Amazon UK, and I have a budget of between £150-200. Most of my devices support 802.11ac, so I'd like a device with high performance WiFi. I am a heavy downloader, uploader and I do also frequently play games. I was considering either the Asus RT-AC3200 or the Asus RT-AC87U/AC2400) Does anyone have any recommendations for wireless routers? Thank you very much for your time!
  5. Just to inform you I received my HD 598's today, and they sound amazing! I didn't order a amplifier, but they still sound great without one. Thanks again for the suggestion!
  6. I have the AC68, and I don't have any issues with the drivers. I've used it on Windows 7, 8.1 & 10. I can't really comment on the range, but you can get extension cables to move the antennas closer to your router.
  7. I'm looking for wired ones, sorry I forgot to say. Thank you anyway Andrew (:
  8. The microphone is around 30cm/12" from my face, since people complain about my keyboard noise. I will look into the X2's, since they seem very high quality, and I they sound work fine with my mobile devices! Thank you c:
  9. Ah okay, no problem! Well thank you very much for your time!
  10. I was looking at them last week but the price was £300, so I decided against them. But I will need to research into the sound leakage, but thanks for reminding me of them. (:
  11. That sounds perfect for me. Have you had any experience with the 558s? Since I believe they are the middle of the road. But the 598s sound great for gaming, so I'm probably going to pick some up within the next few days. Thanks again!
  12. Excellent, thank you for telling me this! I'll probably get them then, and if I don't like them I can return them. How is the bass on them? Since I listen to a lot of rap music, where I like controlled bass.
  13. I was looking at them, however they are open. So I don't how the sound leakage will be, since I don't want my microphone picking up my headphone sound. Thank you!
  14. Hello! I am on the hunt for some new over-ear headphones, I am in the UK with a budget of around £200-250. If I need a DAC/amp it will be in the budget as well. I was looking for some open headphones, but I think my microphone (Audio Technical AT2020) will pick up the leaked sound. So I'd like some closed ones if possible, they will be using for both music & gaming (CS:GO), so a large sound stage would be preferred. Comfort is also a very important factor, as I will be wearing these a lot, so I'd like comfortable ones if possible. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!
  15. I ended up getting the NH-D15s. And it's amazing! c:
