Hi im leaving a message here to see if anyone can help me. i have an issue when i connected my aspire 5750 to a tv. im using an hdmi cord that was bought recently. a day ago i could play a video from chrome on the tv from my laptop, and the video audio would come out of the tv's speakers. at the same time i could play a video on chrome on my laptop screen and its audio came out of my laptop speakers. effectively i could play 2 videos on to separate tabs on 2 screens and have two different audio outputs. now when i connect them, i can only ever have audio come out of either laptop speakers or tv speakers, no longer giving 2 outputs as before. can anyone help me revert to being able audio from the separate devices

Hello gamers republic of linustech tips, I am leaving for university soon. Since i can't take my mid tower into the UK b/c of baggage weight costs I'm in need of a laptop for class+study work as well for movies and games. So what i ask of the republic is TECH ADVICE. below is a list of requirements i have compiled that i think will be useful for my years in uni. o 1080 res, o 14 to 17 inch screen Diagonal o Good contrast ratio, o Good color depth, o Has Ethernet b/c screw wifi o Has DDR3 8GB of ram which can be changed for more gb if needed, o Has a video card with power of something between |AMD Radeon HD 4870| or |R9 280| or Nvidia equivalent. o Between 700GB to 1.5 TB o Has a intel cpu quad core of 3.00Ghz to 4.00Ghz o Optional----has a 128 gb ssd for windows 7 and other core softwares o Optional----has an SD,MMC card reader o Optional----has one Blu-Ray Optical drive capabile of cd,dvd - reading,writing o And is under 1300$, 1100 euro, 900 pounds It is not lost on me that finding a laptop with these parameters will be difficult but i hope you can assist me in my search. thank you.

can you assign different graphics cards separate tasks without having them in sli or crossfire? such as an older amd card with a r9 280 or an amd card with an nvidea card. say i want my better card to focus on the game i am playing and my older but still usable card to focus on background operations.

hello there. my office/gaming chair broke recently. i believe the piston broke. my chair lasted me for 4 years but finally gave up(crushed lol) but it did leave my back wet. can anyone recommend a chair that will handle a heavy load and have a breathable material? thank you for the help!!!

hello! i need help with a skyrim mod. my brother tried for like 3 days to get the fores new idles mode to work in skyrim. as you can imagine the effort proved unsuccessful. he followed the instructions here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811/? but it has not worked yet. if anyone with such experience can help, it would be a really nice thing to do . thank you.

i signed out of my Google account last week. an hour after i signed out, i attempted to sign back in so my chrome browser would sync with my account again. as you can imagine the log in failed. I've many times since then to log in. now the browser repeatedly requests me to sign in again. the little icon at the top right corner with three horizontal lines, is orange. when i go into the chrome settings, i see the message Account sign-in details are out of date. Sign in again over the options to disconnect my Google account and Advanced sync settings. i disconnected my Google account and exited my browser so to stop all background operations. then i opened my browser again and tried to log in, this proved unsuccesful. when i try to open Advanced sync settings, i am placed on my new tab home page. i need help please!!!

iv'e been looking for a good pc d-pad for quite some time. i came across the SpeedLink XEOX Pro but i rather consider most of the options available to me first. i play action games, rpg's and such games which are generally better with a d-pad. please help me!! thank you.

I've been passively searching for a fun rpg that: 1) you can customize your character to a good extent (e.g. something greater than or equal to skyrim), 2) its story isn't for only the most hardcore of gamers (e.g. something with a coherent story unlike world of warcraft), 3) respectable graphics such that it feels like your playing somthing like mass effect and not minecraft (i love minecraft for what it is but if your going to argue on the graphics then that's your opinion), 4) A good user interface (e.g. not like darksiders 2 or darksouls), 5) customization of the game settings/video setting/blah blah. hope i'm not asking for alot. thanks!!
