  2. Hi Everyone and Welcome to the start of my first Build Log on this Forum! I'm here with an idea that I have not seen anywhere else during my countless hours of forum jumping, which is doing a Custom Water-Cooling Loop inside of the Silverstone SG13. I have every intention of working my hardest to make this the best build I've ever done. I will be jumping past many barriers that I had thought unthinkable for myself to do, one of which will be designing and constructing a Custom Cooling Loop. I know I am taking quite a challenge in by using such a small and compact case, but that challenge is one that I am willing to face. So here marks the beginning of the build log, I hope that you choose to stick along with me in my endeavor. Thank You. With this being the Initial post of this project, many of the components have not been finalized. But within the coming few weeks, I look forward to share my choices for each. Computer Components: CPU - [Not Chosen] Memory - Corsair Vengance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) @ 2666MHz Motherboard - [Not Chosen] Storage - [Not Chosen] GPU's - EVGA GTX 980Ti Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ Case - Silverstone SG13B PSU - [Not Chosen] Water-cooling Components: CPU Block - [Not Chosen] Radiator - [Not Chosen] Pump - [Not Chosen] Fittings - [Not Chosen] Tubing - [Not Chosen] Coolant - Mayhem's Pastel Ice White Other Components: Lighting - NZXT Hue + With a build like this, there are also some other things that I would like to do so I can have my work stand out from others. Most of these will most likely not be incorporated into the final build as I have many ideas for this project, but am unsure about which would look the best. Planned Mods (No specific order) - Custom PSU Cables - Side/Top Panel Window - Custom GPU Backplate - Custom Anodizing of RAM Heat-Spreaders
  3. Hi Everyone, I've decided to build a new computer, the sole purpose of this computer is 3D Applications as well as Gaming. Hence the reason for me not upgrading to a GTX 1000 series graphics card. Here is the build list that I've been working on as a final for the build. I have already purchased the things that are noted down below. What I ask from you is for your help with picking the correct components for liquid cooling the PC as I have had no experience doing so. I plan on using a majority of EK components as a Thermaltake sponsorship is completely up in the air. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/TechBank/saved/3mJt6h Please let me know if you have any suggestions for me Can't wait to see what the final Product will look like -Tech Bank
  4. What about the advantages of a Z270 Board? I haven't heard much about them save for the fact that there will be some nice looking ITX boards.
  5. Hey Everyone, I'm looking to downsize my X99 System to a little Z170/Z270 ITX System, since I do not like the offerings of the single X99 ITX board in production. I'm not too sure if I should wait for the new Kabylake CPU's and purchase one of those with a Z270 Motherboard, wait until they are released and purchase a 6600K with a Z170 after the prices drop a bit, or just say ***k it and buy the 6600K and Z170 Board right now. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
  6. You must have gotten something confused, those are USB 2.0 Extensions, you may have thought that they were USB 3.0, but they are 30cm in length. Hope that clears that up
