Well he doesn't want to use the Chronograph as a daily and while hiking, that's the problem. And I don't blame him.  

Would go with Garmin for it's fitness tracking features supposedly the best out of all other smartwatches

I can only speak to using the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, I know it is no longer new but I put that watch through some very tuff use and it held up very very well. I recommend it.
The watch is a male sized watch and its size is a good fit for those with a medium-large wrist. I also wear it to the inside of my wrist not the outside so takes bit more a beating than normal.

Fitness features have been very accurate (from my own experience) It tracks steps and floors. I used to walk a great deal for work and I can tell you it was quite accurate to within 3 ft. Email, Text and any other app notification was/is very responsive. I don't use mine to its full potential but I am a minimalist and I got this with my Galaxy Note 9. It is a tough watch.

Grabbed her one of those for $100 off Nikon Refurb, supposed to be a nice pairing to her kit lens on the Z7. Obviously something nicer would be...nicer but this lens is going to get lugged around to games and pastures and through nature. Some of those are not places you want to take a $2500 lens. Also can't afford to buy her a $2500 lens.

Ah, I thought that the GPU was at 75c. 😅 That's more than fine when you are running stock.
 
As for the Noctuas, I have 2 of these bad bois on front: NF-P14s redux-1500 PWM and they do a great job of getting a lot of air in the case pretty silently. Not sure how they stack up against other fans but they do a great job for me. Aside from the two exhausts on the top of my case, I have 6 gray Noctuas in there all different sizes and they are all great.

I would get two 140mm fans as well and just slap them on front then use the stock fan in the back as an exhaust. You could also try changing the GPU's fan profile if you are using stock. They generally try to make it quiet, which is nice and all but it makes the GPU hotter. If you need help with that, just say so.
 
By the way, 75c is fine but if you acn get it lower, you can get some extra performance out of it.

Shot this "Deal" just now. 
It's the Lian Li TU100 aka "The Lunchbox" Case. 
It's really just a tiny bit larger than an ITX board itself. 
Only reason I bought it was to revive my old i7 2600K and maybe take it with me now end then once it's ready. Planning to put a H60 in there to cool it and probably some next Gen low powered GPU like a 1650 Successor. 


 
 
Also, did anyone already torture the guy who designed the USB3 internal connector? What was he thinking? 
 

I have always just been the mechanic that torqued bolts on feel for my bikes, but this time around I actually invested in a torque wrench for the new bike. I am also making the switch back to clipless pedals, instead of flats. I have ridden Shimano's SPD clipless system for many years when I was younger, but I don't like it anymore so I hope that I like the crank brothers system, since I am switching back to clipless a fresh pair of clipless shoes are needed too , just so happened that the 5.10 Hellcats were on sale and I got extra discount because I am a student
