I just learned at McDonald's there's a cook that spits in people's food when he's mad.

This is thoroughly disgusting, I will never return and am going to inform everyone I can about that. No more Friday lunches from McDonald's. After working fast food, it's disgusting and no matter how healthy they make it seem... It's not good for you. Save your money people, buy groceries and make yourself a nice meal.

Honestly, I kind of wish fast food chains would die off. There’s so mich potential for local commerce to take its place, but it doesn’t happen because the wages and food prices are too low to compete with.

If I can help it I avoid fast food places. The spit thing is a long known issue and a motive to avoid em. I prefer the shops that have names nobody's ever heard of like a local pizza joint I frequent. Their prices are fucked (1 slice $2.50, 20oz drink $2.25, small bag of chips $1.75) but the owners honest and only charges what he does because that's what he's forced to charge to stay in business so I put up with it and consider it a donation to his business compared to where the money for a chain shop would go.

Well it's not just fast food places where shady things happen with your food. And while it's not someone purposely spitting in your food, it's negligence that might as well be.

Homemade food is the best, even when it doesn't taste good :P

@Jtalk4456 That's actually a very common thing I've heard. McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell, people have worked there, quit, and said they don't recommend eating there and some even explain why. I believe em. I've never worked the food industry but I've seen some shit when it comes to warehouses.

If you knew what your favorite box of ice cream or that frozen burrito went through before getting to you you'd think twice about buying it. It was shrink-wrapped or in a box for a reason.
